MK Ice Cream Sandwich.. Once and For All!

I know there's been a lot of discussion of if the MK Bakery/Ice Cream shop still allows you to custom make an ice cream sandwich using whatever flavor cookies and ice cream you want... So, can someone tell me as of recently, what their policy is on this? Thanks!

We went to the Main Street Bakery in January and we got the huge chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream inside. I'm not sure if you could choose any other kind of cookie or flavor ice cream. They were awesome and big enough to split!

My boyfriend did this when we were in Disney this past Christmas. they took 2 HUGE chocolate cookies and pressed them with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle. I think you can choose what flavor ice cream you want, but he just went with vanilla. It was a little messy to share (plus, he was being greedy and didn't want to share ) but you could easily split one between 2 people and be satisfied!

You can choose whatever cookie they have and ice cream. About a month ago, I had two white macadamia nut cookie with vanilla. About six months ago, I remember getting a chocolate chip cookie with strawberry ice cream. Now on the Sleepy Hallow, I didn't know that you can make your own ice cream too, that I gotta check this weekend.

We did this on May 4th of this year and you had a choice of cookie, but they ONLY did vanilla ice cream. I was bummed at first, but wow, it was goooooood.

This is my very favorite MK snack!!! You can also get a homemade cookie sandwich (with your choice of ice cream flavor) at POFQ.

What I had heard is that the ice cream parlour has more variety on ice cream flavors, but just choc chip cookies. And that the bakery has more varieties of cookies, but just vanilla ice cream. This was my experience at the bakery last time, but not sure if this is still true.

It was when I was there last fall. Once of the best deals on a snack credit they have. Yum!

Choice of cookies, usually chocolate chip, sugar, oatmeal or macadamia nut.

only vanilla ice cream

and yes, snack on DDP

We always have one on the day we leave for home. A sweet farewell until next time!

I would love to have one on my last day, but wasn't planning on having a park ticket for the last day.

Sorry, it's on Main Street, so admission is required. If you are on a 6 day ticket or more, each extra day is just 2 bucks. Definitely worth it. The best use of a snack credit in the whole World.

We just returned from WDW and we got the ice cream sandwich from Magic Kingdom bakery. We had a choice of chocolate chip, oatmeal or sugar cookie. We had vanilla ice cream, but I am not sure if there are other flavors allowed. It counts as one snack credit on the dining plan.
