Silly question! We havent been to WDW in several years. Was reading another thread regarding this topic. Is there enough to do in MK for those without kids? Would we find enough to enjoy ourselves? Or should we just stick with the other three and leave MK out? We are planning on 4 days with 1 day at each park and realize we won't get to see and do everything. If we left MK out then we would just make Epcot a 2 day park. Thoughts/opinions?

YES YES YES there is enough to do at MK!!! I would do a day at each park...if you can

Let me be the 1st to tell you that you can have a total blast at MK w/o kids. Me and DW had our Disneymoon in April of 2004 and we had no kids. We went in Dec of 04 and did the MVMCP twice and we didn't have any kids. We went in Oct. of 05 and we did MNSSHP and we didn't have any kids. There is a ton to do. You can go at your own pace and just enjoy. Make sure you make your ADR's for LTT and CP. You cannot go to WDW and not visit the MK. Just like you can't go to WDW with out going to the other parks. Enjoy.....have fun... Oh when we go back in 2008, we will have a little one.

Tough choice. We're an adult only couple (the son is with his little family now). We love doing Epcot in two days. BUT - don't pass up Magic Kingdom. It's just not for the kids. It's for everyone. We don't do it that much anymore but that's because we've been there so much. Take some time and enjoy. For Epcot, find out when Animal Kingdom closes and on that day, head on over to Epcot for Illuminations.

At Magic Kingdom, go for Buzz Lightyear, all three mountains, grab a hot dog at Casey's, heck - take a ride over to Tom Sawyer's Island. Do at least a half day or even 3/4 of a day there. You won't be sorry.

Husband is 41, and I'm 38...we have no children. Our first stop is always Magic Kingdom. We love, love, love to stroll around the park, ride the rides, take the train around the park, eat a hot dog at Casey's, share a Dole Whip and watch the world go by in AdventureLand, watch the parade and fireworks (Wishes is the best fireworks show ever!), and just take in all the magic that this park offers.

Hmmm... I was just asking this same type question over on another thread earlier today. For those who have answered, if you only had 3 days at Disney due to other commitments which parks would you do? DH loves AK and I love Epcot. We are torn between MK and MGM. Thanks!

Heck yeah!!!!! It's awesome without kids!!! DH and I don't have kids yet and we love going as a couple. Personally, I think the MK is just soooo romantic for couples

We try to enjoy it as much as we can, as once the kids come along, it will definitely be a different experience. :goodvibes

The Castle  the rides  How do I love thee, let me count the ways! :lovestruc

My DH and I (WAY OVER 40 -- well I'm only 29 and HOLDING (ha ha)) - no kids - spent 2 days in MK. I would never DREAM of not going to MK. We LOVED every bit of it. Need to go back soon for another dose.

And to kydeb1346 - I would never pick MGM over MK. Others loved MGM ... but a day without Dumbo is like a day without :sunny:

My boyfriend is 22, I'm 23. We went our very first vacation together last year to WDW and had more fun then the majority of kids we saw! Most of them were crying because they were tired or hot or hungry, etc. The other half of the kids there were zonked out in their strollers! My BF and I spent open-close in each park...did MGM twice because of the rides and shows, and had the time of our lives. As a matter of fact, we were so enthralled with WDW when we came back that we made our brothers jealous! Neither had any interest in going until we came back and so this year they are coming along with us (my bro is 19, my BF's bro is 18). We are all really excited about going back and we truly enjoyed being there! We are already planning to go back in October for MNSSHP!

MK is awesome without the kiddies!! We do EVERYTHING in MK....we even had lunch in the Castle last year. This year we are spending my birthday in MK!! EMH, ride some rides, lunch with Tigger at Crystal Palace, stroll around and smell the flowers, do a little shopping...what a day!!! :Pinkbounc I can't wait!!! :Pinkbounc

My DW's first trip was just the two of us. We had a blast. We did Disney, US and Sea World. I don't think we got much rest on that trip but it was a blast for me to play tour guide. We are about to go on our 7th trip since then.

We have no children, but that doesn't keep us from loving MK - to me, you haven't really seen WDW if you haven't been to MK; it's where it all started (well, it really all started at Disneyland, but you get my drift). There are so many fantastic rides and the atmosphere itself is just great. Don't miss it!

dh and I have spent many many vacations at WDW and we do not have any kids. We are heading over there for 15 nights in just a few days , and even that is not enough :)
you will have a great time!!!! :)
go to MK too!

We fell in love with the MK all over again on our last trip! I think it's a great place for couples without children. It's so romantic and the Castle is so magical! We found ourselves going back numerous times over our week-long stay. Have a great time!

Ride Haunted Mansion...twice...

Once to actually ride it... and the second time.... it's dark, you are in dune buggies that hide you.... alone..... use your imagination.

Just remember that when the ride turns, people can see you - so stop. ;) One of my buddies didn't realize this.

Me and Dh are going for the first time without the kids  in August and we can't wait to hit the MK and do what we want to do for a change, taking in all the little details that we had to rush by before. Its going to be the honeymoon we never had, just 7 years late :woohoo:

Child-free married couple here!!! We ALWAYS do Magic Kingdom and make a day of it. Go and have a good time!

JM2C here...
Are you nuts!?!?!?! :rotfl: Okay, just joking around there...but seriously...there is a lot to do at MK for adults! More for adults than for little children, IMO, because many kids are too small to go on the headliner rides. Dh and I visited MK several times while childless and found it no less fun, just a different kind of fun because we didn't have to account for a toddler's interests/energy level/etc. I absolutely cannot imagine a trip to WDW without visiting MK, and my guess is that the vast majority of DISers feel the same way! Go to MK and have a great time! There is always next visit to see everything you missed this time around at the other parks! :grouphug:

Errr, just realized you've already been! Hope you saw MK and loved it! :teeth:

Do not pass up MK, probably as adults without kids, you'll have much more fun. There are way to many things to enjoy as a couple, and you'll be able to accomplish more doing the park as adults. You'll just love it. DW and I go to MK first arrival, and last park before leaving for the airport. Don't pass it up if at all possible.
