MK fireworks viewing effect of new ferry dock?

I visited a few years ago, and we loved the MK fireworks viewing from the Poly beach, and the ferry dock at the TTC.

We are heading back in September, on the first night when we arrive, there is no time to get into a park. SO what we do is head over to a resort, grab a QS meal and watch the fireworks. However things seemed to have changed quite a bit recently....

There is major construction on the Poly, and there is a new dock at the TTC.

So the obvious questions... is the Poly beach still an option for watching the fireworks?

Does the new ferry dock at the TTC obstruct the viewing?

Please limit yourself to people who have been there since the ferry dock was added....

Also I have heard that the Wilderness Lodge Cast Member Parking is a good spot too.... Is it o.k. to go in there? Is it worth the effort?

Thanks!

According to the above link you will have to be a guest of the Poly (staying there) to use the Poly beach to watch Wishes while the construction is ongoing.

Might I suggest instead that you grab a bite to eat at the Contempo cafe and watch the fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck at the CR?

With the lobby being torn up, and everything, it really was never a viable option. I like the 4th floor balcony idea, and I have never eaten in the contemporary.

We could park at the TTC free being resort guests, and ride the monorail over, or can we part at the contemporary?

You don't have to eat at the Contemporary to view fireworks from the
4th Floor deck. Just show up.

It is only the 15th floor deck that is reserved for guests who have eaten or had a drink at the bar on up there
on the to floor that day.

If it's just a typical day, non-Comtemporary guests can park for up to three hours at the resort while just visiting.
If MK is very busy, guests can try to valet park ($17, plus tip) at the Contemporary or park at TTC and monorail over.

I checked out the WL cast member parking lot when we were at WL last December and it was a terrible place to see the fireworks. Maybe it was good at one time, but now there are a lot of trees and vegetation growing all over the chain link fence which block the views. The water bridge over the road partially blocks the view, too. I thought the view from the WL beach was better than from the cast member parking lot, and even that view was of the high fireworks. THE CR would have a better view than anywhere at WL.
