MK Fireworks from Wilderness Lodge?

Does anyone know if there is anyplace on site at the Wilderness Lodge that you can see the MK fireworks show? We are headed to VWL in May and wanted to leave the parks in the evening before the end of night rush but I love to see the fireworks.

From certain rooms you can see them from the upper floors. It's on the service area side.

Can also see them from the parking lot.

We've stayed in the Wilderness both times, and from inside it's pretty hard to see fireworks over the trees.

If you want to make a quick exit after the fireworks, but still see them at MK, you could find a spot from the train station end of main street, or even on the train platform, and then exit promptly at the end of wishes in order to make a quick departure to the boat dock for Wilderness, you should get to the next boat no problem.

We just returned from a week-long stay in the villas at Wilderness Lodge. We had a room on the lake side and on the fifth floor. We could see quite few fireworks from our balcony, just not the low-lying ones. The best fireworks display we saw was from the boat traveling between the contemporary and the WL. The captain of the ship just turned the motor off and let us sit on Bay Lake and watch the whole show. We saw everything, and it was amazing! Great option for fireworks viewing if you can time it right.

There aren't any villas with views of the MK fireworks. & years ago we were on the top floor of the lodge with a woods view (north wing i think) and could see the fireworks. I'm not even sure if we could see them from the same room today. But either way, the villas are in another building on the other side of the property and there's no view. Sorry.

When we stayed at WL in 2005, someone had posted that you could see some of the fireworks from the windows in the hallways on the upper floors (regular lodge, not the villas - I don't know about the villas). We did that one night and it was kind of neat!

We were pleasantly surprised that we could even see some of the fireworks right from the patio of our 1st floor room near the "otter pond"! The trees blocked a lot, but it was still pretty neat to watch in our pj's!

(Don't miss the Electrical Water Pageant out on the lake! The music and lights are really neat!!)

What a coincidence, I was just about to post a thread asking for photos of the fireworks from WL. So... if you have any photos of the fireworks please post them along with maybe a brief description of where you were. (room number, outside, etc)

I could see them from my room when I last stayed there. I forget the room #. Don't seem to have any pics of it.
I will check though. It was an amazing view.

As of last night you could see a pretty good deal of them from room 5056.

That was pretty much the only good thing.... Had an extremely disappointing stay for a deluxe hotel!

Wow- sorry to hear that! May I ask if you were in the hotel or the villa's part? We've stayed in the villa's once before and absolutely loved it.

I'm not really sure. We booked and received a North Wing, upper floor, standard view. I'm guessing the famous "Otter Pond" is available from the "woods view" rooms.

That's what I "requested" a higher-level Woodsview (paying extra for) overlooking otter pond. So, we'll see what WL holds for us.

We were able to see part of them from the hot tub, which was very cool! If you walk a bit closer to the water/dock, you might be able to see all of it.

I don't remember being able to see the actual castle from WL - but we were in the villa's and our balcony wasn't facing in that direction (couldn't see the castle from the beach or anything - it was too far back into the Kingdom).

facing the famous otter pond - ok it looked more like a cesspool to me - lots of algea and no otters!!! We did have a great view of the fireworks though!!!
