MK Fireworks and Chef Mickey's

We have an 8:55PM ADR for CM's on a Friday night. I've read that you can view the MK Fireworks from the CR. Based on our ADR time, would the fireworks be before/during/after our dinner?

Can you see it from CM's dining room or do you have to go somewhere else in the CR? How's the view? About how long does the MK Fireworks show last?

I have never seen them from CM... And have had many,many meals there!

But if you go to the observation deck at the northwest corner of the 4th floor (same as CM) you will have a great view from there...

You can see the monorail from CM, but no fireworks.

The fireworks viewing at CR is at the top at CG

I think they're doing a thing where if you eat dinner at the CG you can keep your receipt and go back up to the roof and watch Wishes from up there. That's what we're doing, anyway. Not so sure if the same works for Chef Mickeys.

The California Grill is the only restaurant where you can see Wishes, so if you want to see them before or after Chef Mickey's the best place is from the 4th floor observation deck.

Chef Mickey's is at the oposite end of the Contemporary that you would be able to view the fireworks from. So you definitly can't view them from the dining room. Others have given good options for viewing though.
