I just called a cple hrs ago and got a ressie for all 6 of us for Dec 3rd......the dates the CM said were available (Nov 28th - Dec 5th is when we will be there) were all for the MVMCP only.....so if you dont have tixs for that you wont be able to make ressies for the dessert party......

Thanks to everyone for this thread! I was watching it every single day for weeks, and then stopped for a couple of days and missed the extension!! We are going to DW 12/5-12/11. So I immediately called--just now!--and booked for our MVMCP night, 12/8. Whoo hoo!! I got a cast member I could hardly understand (she was East Indian), but she laughed when she asked how many kids under 17, and I said zero, just my husband and me. And, oh, do we love desserts!

We will be at the dessert party that night, too! I was feeling a bit guilty taking that time away from the MVMCP time that we paid for, but I figured we would likely be waiting for the fireworks ahead of time anyway, might as well have a treat and a spot to sit for a while beforehand! Perhaps we will see each other there!

So does anyone have any idea what dates the Dessert Party is held after the MVMCP is over? I'm gonna be there 12/27 to 1/2 and would like to go!

I have had several CM tell me it is on their calendar till December 29, but I just read that it could last now till January 2 or 3. I wish we knew for sure, I want to go to this so bad.

I don't think they are doing this anymore. There was report when the new prices came out that there would be no more reserved seating.

I was there on Sept 17th and there was assigned seating.

That's great - unfortunately I just called for my trip in November and there's no availability on any nights of our trip - not even the MVMCP nights. I hope others have better luck!

What are your dates,, i have booked for two nights, one a party night & one a non-party night,, may cancel the party night once i find out if i will miss the parade or not, or other stuff thats going on.

I just called DVC to check on some other ADRs that I couldn't pull-up on line.
Just for kicks I had her see if there were any openings for Dec.19th.
Guess what?
I got them.
At first she said no, there's nothing at 8 o'clock.
I said 8? Isn't Wishes at 8? I thought you were seated before?
Oh, so she put in the correct time & found something.
Maybe that's happened before.
The CM entered the wrong time for the right date.

Our dates our Nov 19 - 27. I had her check every night except the 19th (arrival night) and the 25th - which is our fantasmic night. I know it's a really busy week, but I will keep checking for openings just in case someone cancels.

Im there, 15-29th, i have the 19th which is our party night & 28th ,, i was originally only wanting the 28th but i paniced incase the non party nights were not going to be released,, i would not mind going twice but i may just wait until im in the park & see whats to do ,, i dont want to miss too much since this is our 1st party night,, may just see the parade on main street then head over to the terrace, even if we only get 10 mins of stuffing our face then watch the fireworks im happy enough,

Hope you get something,, no dought some1 will cancel.

I called 2 days ago for Dec 12th, no availability. This was the day they announced the dates extending! I called yesterday for Dec 12th, no availability. I called again yesterday afternoon, yes, we have availability for a party of 10!!! I really think it depends on the CM and how hard they look!

That's the night I have booked for, I was given 7:20pm as check-in time.

I see that you have a 7:20 ADR for a 8pm Wishes - I was given an 8:50 check-in for a 9:30 Wishes. I was a little worried about it since I keep reading it is supposed to be "one hour prior".

I was skeptical that the CM booked it right and was also worried that things would be picked over or they would start cleaning it up shortly after we get there, based on what I have been reading. But I was glad it was a little late, b.c. we are going during MVMCP and I don't want to miss much of the party either. Once CM told me the first parade was at 8:15 the other at 8:30???

So I am hoping to watch the parade from Main St. then dart over to TLT by 8:50. Do you think this is possible?

The parade should start at 8:30. It is going to be hard to get there by 8:50. i would just catch the second parade.
