Ok, Just got off the phone, confirmed the reservation and questioned the non payment. SHe said it is NOT a pre pay, and that the DIsboards are not official! LOL... everyone knows the disboards know more than most disney CMs Told me not to worry, and that it definitely is for dessert... So being the type of OCD I am, I will be calling again later today,

Sorry Robin she is so wrong. It is a pre pay I already got charged. Now they did tell me you have 24hrs before to cancel to get your money back. I would keep calling till somebody chagerd me. That would make me feel more secure.
I'm way to OCD !

We got to the event about 9:00 PM. You will need to check in at the register. It is recommended that you make reservations for this dessert party. Cost is $17.99 for guests 10 and over, guests 3-9 pay $9.99. They will accept walk ups but seating is limited. You can call 407-WDW-DINE for reservations. Payment is required at the time you make the reservation. You are given a wrist band to identify you as a dessert party guest.

I just booked for 9 pm on 7/21 I did have to prepay with my cc.
I would definitely call back and double check my reservation if they did not take a cc payment from you.

you are 100% correct, had it not happened to me that my reservation was deleted I would have believed my CM too! Good thing we are on here trying to right all the wrongs of the dis reservation system this week!

Which day are you trying for? Aug 16, 23 and 30 there is a special dnner buffet at Tomorrowland Terrace. Could the CM be confusing this with the Wishes Dessert Buffet?

I have my reservation for Aug 25- and for once I was very happy to see a charge listed online for my cc My nieces are going to love this- their very first day at MK, 12 yr old's bday... and they get to eat as much dessert as they want while leisurely watching fireworks. (from the planning DVD, the fireworks shows caught their interest the most)

Have booked for July 27th, credit card details taken, time given to arrive 9.05pm. Wishes is 10pm that night and Spectro at 9pm, I questioned the 9.05 slot and was told I will be able to see Spectro before going in! Ah, I wanted to see it inside (iykwim). So reading throught all these posts am I correct in thinking you don't need to get pre printed confirmation vouchers/tickets like Hoop show, you just turn up at the podium and get your wristband?

When I made my first try to make these ress. I was on the phone for an 1/2 hr. She had no clue about nothing. I told her I had to go back to wrk and would call back later. I called right back and Thank God I got a CM who knew what they were doing.

I originally tried to book this on 8/23. I was told there was no party that night. I tried calling back and getting a different cast member and again was told there was no party that night. I booked it for 8/28. They took my cc# and charged it. I also have a DINNER reservation for 8/23 at the Tomorrowland Terrace. No cc# required for that and also on the dining plan.

Hmmmmm maybe that is why I was told it was all booked up on the 16th (DDs bday), I called pretty early..... that is okay though I got the 21st

Ok, I got this whole ball rolling with the info on reservations.. it's now almost 24 since I "re booked" my reservation.. still not charge on my credit card appearing!! I used the Disney Visa.. usually takes 24 hours for things to show up, anyone else use disney visa and get an immediate charge to the card? Starting to get paranoid now!

Please note that Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe is only open on these select nights:

August 16, 23 and 30

I think this is part of the problem, this restaurant is open on these days and is on the DDP. It is a buffet and is NOT the dessert party. Restaurant name is the same.... So if you are going on one of these dates you need to make sure that you book the dessert party (if they are still having on those days) and not the restaurant. Good Luck!

This happened to me. My first clue was that she didn't ask for a credit card and instead told me it takes 1 TS credit. Also, the time was 8:50 on 8/16. I hung up and called right back. The CM I got the second time around was much more knowledgeable. She told me that we were in fact booked for the dinner, not the dessert party. Unfortunately, we couldn't get into the dessert party at all during our stay.

I still say try again! I had a CM who told me my first choice date was unavailable and booked me on the 2nd choice night. I called back 5 minutes later and my first choice date was magically available!

thanks! the OCD in me made me call Disney Visa direct, got someone who could verify the charge was there and gave me a transaction number for the charge so it looks like I'm finally all set!

I just called this morning and asked for any day between August 22 - August 28. It seemed like she had no problem getting 4 of us in for August 22, which is a Saturday night. It's also a night that has both Spectro and Wishes. So I would definitely say that those of you who weren't able to get a reservation to try calling back. Somehow I don't think that many nights are already booked up.

I originally wanted to do this as soon as I read about it online. But since everyone else in my group is "on a diet," they all said they wouldn't do it. But once I showed them pictures, they changed their minds! So we're all excited for this now.

I just called and got the 21st, PIF on CC, really want the 20th as that is DD birthday, so I am going to keep checking as CM to told me to. My CM knew exactly what I was talking about, asked how I heard about it (DIS ) and that she was trying it soon as she could not believe some of the desserts they are having. Keep Trying everyone. I was on the phone a totally of less than 10 minutes including hold time.
