MK fastpass strategy advice

Hi all, I've been fiddling with our MK plans since I keep having luck in modifying FP to earlier in the day. I currently have the following FP:
10:05 Jungle Cruise
11:40 7DMT (hurray I've been refreshing daily for this for three weeks!)
12:45 PP

Originally we weren't planning on an aggressive 4th,5th, etc FP plan because we have littles and our 7DMT originally was for the evening. However now that we're done with our original FP by 12:45 I'm thinking that we'll try for a few extras for the afternoon to reduce lines as much as possible.

My understanding is that JC is a fairly easy 4th FP to grab. Meet and greets are important to us - should I swap out jungle Cruise to see if I can grab an early meet and greet fastpass with one of my kids' favorite characters? How common are character meet and greet fastpasses day of? I'm willing to use the refresh method to a certain extent but don't want to have my nose in the phone all day.

Thanks! I love all the advice I've gotten here over the last few weeks!

You should be able to get Jungle Cruise later, but you can also get Buzz, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Pooh, Pirates as your 4th and beyond FP choices. If you have any intention of going to Enchanted Tales with Belle, I would probably try to grab a FP for that and maybe grab a Jungle Cruise later. A lot of it depends on what your plan is, but the hardest FP's to get in MK are Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan, Thunder Mountain, Splash, and Belle.

Character FP's pop up during the day all the time, last November we got a Tinkerbell one at 2:30 for a 4:30 FP. This is just a personal opinion but I feel like when schedules aren't working out the meet and greets are the first FP's thrown overboard.

I don’t see Jungle Cruise often as a fourth fastpass but I would prioritize princess meet and greet fastpasses as those are much harder to get day of.

Just asked my family which they would be more disappointed to miss out on, we decided meeting Cinderella is more important to us than jungle Cruise. So I swapped the JC FP for that. Considering now to Rope Drop Adventureland.

Other than PP and 7DMT, most other FPs are not too difficult to get.
As soon as you tap in for your last FP, start looking for what is available. Pick the one you want, then start trying to modify the time.
For what ever reason, I seen to have better luck getting the attraction I want and then modifying to get the time I want than trying for the attraction at the time I want.
Goodluck!

While I'm one who likes to use refresh a lot, I think an easy way to use it is to try to plan to get 1 FP per hour. If you can take 3-5 minutes planning that 1 FP you can get a FP for pretty much any of the rides you're wanting. Some may take a bit longer but some you'll also find within seconds. This way you won't feel like your nose in constantly in your phone and it's really easy to spare a few minutes here or there while standing in a line or having a snack.

This is true for me as well. Grab it then modify the time.

We usually can get 10+ FPs at MK during the day. Definitely rope drop and hit the headliners that interest you that you have not scored a FP for, then refresh MDE while in the FP queue to see what turns up. You will be pleasantly surprised methinks.

Some M&Gs are easier day of than others. Ariel and Tink are easier than the Fairytale Hall Princesses. I would pre-book Cindy over JC too. Adventureland is a nice RD. We often do Frontierland and then Adventureland.
