I was trying to book 11/25 online but it says no availability. Could this date be sold out already or just another glitch?

11/25 is a Sunday, and it appears that they’ve been cancelling Sundays in October and early November so far. It could be that this one is also cancelled and hasn’t been officially announced yet.

This chart was accurate as of 3pm yesterday:

Since then, there has been one report from an 11/11 DISer of Disney calling today to let them know it would be cancelled. It would appear they may be making their way to calling 11/25 folks as well, but we don't know that for sure yet. TBD.

I've got 11/27 booked and I hope it stays, but at least I know to keep an eye on this thread... my youngest is finally tall enough for 7DMT and I loved the idea of them getting a bunch of rides that morning!

11/11 is another sunday. so is it just sundays? i'm still booked on 11/6 no calls. but that would mean my special breakfast would be cancelled if this event was cancelled and i would like to book another adr then if it's cancelled that's unique but now probably all of those special adrs are booked for that week so that's not so great.

I booked EMM on the 6th Nov just prior to them calling me because I knew that it was just a matter of time before they phoned me to cancel the 28th and the 11th. The lady I spoke with said the 6th was ok and there were no plans to cancel it.

Did she offer tickets to the Christmas party at all? Or are they just offering the fast passes now?

We already have two MVMCP booked, so it was impossible to try and plan another one! I think if it hadn't been for that , then she would have offered us tickets for that!

Thanks for this! This is all so crazy. I guess I am not totally shocked, being how surprised we were when they even opened up dates in Oct/Nov for this to begin with, since they didn't last year. So far, we are still okay for 11/13. Hope it stays that way.

Thanks for your reply!

We are booked for 11/27 and if it gets cancelled my kids decided they wanted to do the Christmas party if it was offered, so I was just wondering!

So I’m trying to fit in our first EMM during our early September trip.

The best date to do it for us would be the day after arrival, our first full park day. It’s probably the only date that could work for us, actually.

My youngest is 3 years old. Should I worry about spoiling him with multiple rides on Mine Train and Peter Pan (he loves both) on our first morning? I’d explain to him that we’re only able to do this at the special “party” and that on other days he might only be able to ride once, but... 3 is not the age of reason. Anyone dealing with a child around the same age?

I wouldn't worry about spoiling him, especially if you explain to him. My niece is also 3 and she's done EMM twice before, but this will be the first time she does the Mine Train as well as the other rides that are open during EMM. I hadn't even thought about that because of all of the fun things we will have FP's for through out the trip.

My son will be a few days shy of his 3rd birthday when we go. We did EMM on our trip last year when he was 18 months. He got to ride Pooh and Peter Pan over and over and then went on with his day just fine afterward. I hope he will be tall enough for the Mine Train when we go this time! I’m not concerned though, everything at Disney is fun and I’m sure he will be happy to see other stuff than those 3 rides.

We did EMM our first full park day last August with our then 3 year old. She was fine afterwards. It didn't really cause any issues. We actually felt like it was a great way to get into the park and let her get comfortable and explore before all of the crowds rolled in. It actually made for a really great way to start the trip and are doing it again this year with our now 4 year old and two year old.

I think he'll be fine, especially since you're explaining that it's a "special" experience and not the norm. Kids that age are pretty "in the moment" and will love EMM, but the next day will already be moving on to whatever is happening that day. We usually end up doing EMM earlier in our trip as well and I kinda like have the super early morning early on before fatigue starts to set in a bit.

Agree with the PPs. My son had just turned 3 on our last trip and LOVED EMM. Being able to indulge him on repeated rides on 7DMT (8 in a row!) was one of the highlights of our trip. I did have to explain to him the next day when we rode with a FP that we couldn't go on again, but he got it. Have a wonderful time! :)

I got my phone call today about 11/25. The CM was super nice to talk with and was definitely making sure I was satisfied with other options. His first suggestion was to go on 11/27, so that one is not going to get canceled. But that day doesn’t work for us so he ended up booking us for the MVMCP for our original EMM day. I’m happy.

I got my call today as well for the 11/25 EMM so I rebooked it for the 11/27 event. I was so surprised that they were having it that day, I forgot to ask about any other options.

Interesting- I'm booked for 11/27 and have been expecting to get a call, but nothing yet. Fingers crossed it goes forward!!

Little nervous with 11/18 as one of the only remaining Sundays. We specifically booked it because it's MICKEY'S Birthday! But... even 3 of those FPs would work out fine for us. ETA: 11/18 doesn't appear bookable either. I'm going to call tomorrow.

As a reminder in case helpful, here is a log of the reported dates so far:

They seem to have made their way through the 11/25 calls as of today. It would appear other dates are “safe” for the moment - which could obviously change at any time if Disney makes additional changes.

Thank you to everyone for reporting any updates to your dates/reservations, it is incredibly helpful!
