MK Experts...Most/Least favorite MK attractions!

We only have 1 day at MK for our short November trip...so it has to be good. Could you please list, in your opinion, your top 3 and bottom 3 attractions. My children are 14, 11, 8. Thanks!!!

Top 3 Mk rides...

1)The "mountains" - Splash, Space, Thunder
2)Buzz Lightyear
3)Pirates of the Carribean

Worst 3 rides.....

1)Tikki Room
2)Swiss Family Treehouse
3)Tom Sawyer Island

Also...Mickey's Philharmagic is a great show, as well as the Hall of Presidents (which your kids may not enjoy...I remember fighting with my parents about waiting to see that "boring" show...but now I love it! )

Most fav's: Peter Pan's ride/splash mtn/Carousel of Progress

Least fav's: Liberty boat/space mtn/stitch's escape

You have a few different ages with you and since we do not know what type of ride most appeals to each of you. ( fast, slow, scenic, action.) My best advice would be for you to spent some time on the WDW site reading about ( and watching the movie clips) then each of you pic one must try ride to do first.

The Magic Kingdom is so wonderful, it is hard to pick my most favorites without listing them all.

Top Three:
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear
Big Thunder Mountain

Bottom Three:
Jungle Cruise
Swiss Family Treehouse
Enchanted Tiki Room

For DD it's Buzz, Space, IASW
For me it's IASW, IASW, Buzz

1) all the mountains, space,thunder, splash they count as one since they all FP

1) Tom Sawyer Island
2) Country Bears (they really need a redo)

Must do's: Splash Mtn., Big Thunder Mtn., Buzz Lightyear.

Least favs: Snow White, Dumbo, Space Mountain (If you ride RnR at MGM, you don't need to waste all that time in line for SM.)

Get there at opening and always have a fast pass.

No not miss Mickey's Philharmagic!!!!!
It was by far the best 3D show in any of the parks and it had all the Disney favorite characters. I think all ages would love it!!!!
Otherwise, it does depend on your kids, but you can never go wrong with Space and Splash Mountain.

I would not waste me time on TTA (please, no flames); it is basically a slow-moving ride that goes around Tomorrow land, we liked the view from it but only did it because there was no line (that should have told us!) My DD were 6 & 3 and really did not enjoy it at all.

I can only tell you the Worst - Stitch Great Escape - Blech!

Everything else, while it might not be a favorite of mine, has some redeeming qualities. I can't think of one good thing about Stitch tho (and I love Lilo & Stitch)


I was surprised to see so many not liking the Jungle Cruise tho - That's always been a Classic to me - Very Walt. Right up there with Carosel of Progress in sentimental terms.

2) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
3) Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin

Bottom of the List:
1) Hall of Presidents
2) Timekeeper
3) Umm... maybe Donald's Boat? (I like almost all the rides, so it's hard to pick least favorites )

Alien Encounter use to be my least favorite, so I'll have to see how Stitch is before I decide if it's better or worse.

~Splash Mountain (all-time favorite ride at WDW)
~Space Mountain (I personally like this better than RnR b/c there is a lot less jarring and if your little ones don't like rollercoasters very much, this one is a safer bet)
~Buzz Lightyear (who doesn't like this ride?)

(everyone has said these already but these really are their best rides)

Least Favorite
~Jungle Cruise (go to Animal Kingdom for better related rides)
~Tiki Room
~It's a Small World (but little kids will like it)

Enchanted Tiki Room (have no desire to see it)

Have your children been to MK? Ask your children what they like and dislike. Their favorites and our favorites may be different.
