Will be there Nov 30 this year - yeah!!! and was planning on trying the EMH with our 2 kids. From reading posts, it sounds like it may be quite busy, especially for Fantasyland. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are also going to do the EMH morning that Friday so what we don't catch Wed night hopefully we can do then.

I read the official list of the rides open on the WDW website. It doesn't seem like that much for the park to be open for 3 extra hours. Do they ever open up more rides than what are posted, say because of higher crowd levels???

If they do open up extra rides, how do you know which ones are running? Do they hand you out a schedule when you get your wristband?

Thanks to all who respond. This is our first trip back to WDW in 7 years and the first with our 2 kids so I can use all the help you can offer.

Just about all the rides are open during the evening EMHs. It's in the morning that only FantasyLand attractions are open. So, if you go at night, you can do just about anything. It does get crowded at night though. Depending on the age of your kids, I would try for the morning EMH...it's not nearly as crowded, but that's because all those big kid attractions aren't open yet. If you decide to go on Nov 30....realize that you might not get to do everything you want to do because of the crowds. But, you may find it's not all that bad because it is the Wed after the big THanksgiving week crowd and a lot of people have gone home. I arrive that day and I'm hoping the crowds are on the smaller side.

Since that's my last night at WDW, I'm planning to do MK EMH on November 30th also. To me, there's something so magical about the MK after dark, with all the twinkling lights on Main Street, etc.

::MickeyMo They have nice little schedules that they give you when you get your wristband. They tell you everything that's open. If you're worried about Fantasyland being crowded, go as soon as the ropes drop. One time we grabbed a FP for Space Mountain (since everyone headed there right away) and went straight for FL. We did 4 rides there within 30 minutes! LoL. It was great and definitely worth it! ::MinnieMo

I'll be at MK EEMH on 11/30 as well! We are going mainly to see Spectro and regular Wishes since our only other night at MK will be for MVMCP. I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to be packed! I hope not, since a lot of people will be leaving Sunday from Thanksgiving travel, but I think I'll stake out my spot for Spectro about 90 minutes in advance and keep dd busy with Pal Mickey and an ice cream!

I'm with Simba's Mom - I lurve the parks after dark!

Regarding MK Evening EMH: I have found that the later you can stay, the better off your are. It's ka-razy right when the EMH starts, but the last hour or so - when most of the folks have faded and left - can be prime park time.

Personally I regretted doing EMH with the kids. It was just as crowded until after 10:30 and it was just too hard on teh kids to stay up so late. They slept in late the next day and were still out of sorts. If I could do a few things differently, I would never have stayed out so late. but I suppose everyone's kids handle it differently. If your kids seem tired or the crowds do not abate, consider calling it a night despite the EMH.
