MK Evening EMH Strategies

On June 15, we have a 7:55 pm ADR at O'Hana. MK has evening extended hours and we are staying at WL. We have only seen wishes from the beach at Poly and have never seen the parade. With that ADR is it even possible to get into MK that time of night or a bit like swimming upstream?

We will be in MK other evenings so if we ride rides or schedule FP+ during parade and/or wishes we will do that. I think Jungle Cruise at night would be fun.

What would you do? Anybody want to give me a touring plan?

I should also mention we will have a car so if it makes sense to drive we can do that.

Thanks.

Hmmmm...okay then, New question. Can we get from Poly to adventureland at 9:30 pm on an Emh night where emh is 11 to 1?

Thanks.

I don't have an answer for you because this will be our first trip where we are taking advantage of evening EMH. BUT, the best thing I did this time around especially with figuring out times for ADRs and FP+, is utilize the personalized touring plans at turingplans.com. I am a planner and I had a blast playing around with it getting the best times for things.

The problem is the 'Ohana ADR at 7:55PM.
'Ohana is always backed-up and the meal is also one
of the slowest to enjoy to the fullest (not be be rushed.)

In any case (even if you don't try to get to MK) I'd arrive at
'Ohana and check in about 7:25-ish.

To get to Adventureland by 9:30PM, I want to leave
the Poly on the monorail no later than 8:45PM.
Not a likely situation.

So, if I don't set a specific time and just say get to adventureland after dinner, is that possible?

Sure. You might have to weave through the Main St crowds to get to Adventureland, but you can bypass much of it by going through the interconnected shops of the Emporium. 9:30 is probably pushing it, unless you rush dinner, but getting to Jungle won't be any harder than any other attraction.

You are correct, Jungle is great fun at night.

I have a similar question. We have an ADR at Cali Grill for 7:30 on Sunday night. MK has EMH till - that evening. Is it worth the trip over after our dinner? We we're thinking of walking from Contemporary and enjoying the extra hours.

I certainly would do that.

You'd have lots of time in MK, as the PM EMH runs until 1AM this Sunday night.

Guests staying at a WDW Resort and having valid park tickets may enter a PM EMH at any time before or during the PM EMH.

we booked 7:30 at crystal palace for when we are going to pm mk emh. that way we are already in the park .

If you want to start at JC, I would just work my way around the park clockwise from there. If you want to do ETWB at all during the trip without using FP+, I'd try to hit that during EMH. We literally walked into it during an evening EMH last June.

FWIW, I didn't find evening EMH to be nearly as beneficial as I thought it would have been. Those two hours went by really quickly and I didn't find the park to be as uncrowded as I had expected it to be. A LOT of people just seem to like to hang around the park at night. I was just looking through my SWW pics from last year, and found this picture, which was taken at 1:10 a.m. as we were leaving the park.
