MK EMH until 3:00 am!!!

We had a very late night EMH on our last night in Feb. By 1am the park was empty. If I had stayed- we were leaving the next morning and I was exhausted so I left at 1am- I would have been able to go on a ton of rides walk-on. Hoping for another 3am EMH next March!!

I love hearing all of these experiences! We will be at the 3am EMH on June 1st as well, and can't wait!!

We did it last year the Sunday of spring break and the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Both times the crowds started thinning out after wishes and after 1 a.m. it seemed like almost everything was a walk on or less than 10 minute wait. Now the next day we slept in and went to DHS around 2 p.m. and stayed until 12 p.m. (EMH 10 - 12). We plan on doing it again next spring break week.

Does anyone know how long the park will be open for the MNSSHP on 10/3? Both years it has closed at midnight so I'm amazed to hear it stays open until 2 or 3 am. We would so love that.

Party is over at midnight- EVERYTHING is closed right at that time.

On a regular Sunday the MK has EMH for 2 hours after park closes

Crowds really thin out after wishes at 10:00. They get bare after the 11:00 ELP. By 1 you should be able to walk on everything except Space Mountain and you would probably have a 15-20 minute wait for that.

My party is also looking forward to a 3AM EMH next month! The only thing I'm worried about is when do they stop the buses back to the resorts on such nights? :confused3

In March 2013 we stayed until 3am for MK's EMH. We didn't arrive until about 10pm. By midnight the crowds were low, and got lower as the night progressed. Very few people still there at closing.

Went back to the room for a short nap, they got up for AK's 7am EMH opening a few hours later.

Yup!

We don't always last ALL the way until 3am, but I have some old FP- with return times of 1am and later. Mostly, we actually did return at the return time, but by then the line was so short we didn't need them.

And there is something fun about owning a FP with a return time of 2:45am! :confused3

One of my favorite WDW memories was a family jogging across Tomorrowland at 1am. The grandfather, pushing the stroller, said something like, "I didn't think I could even stay awake past midnight any more. Now, I'm running to a thrill ride past midnight! I love this place!"

Crowds tend to thin by midnight, but often earlier. One of my personal favorite things is to ENTER MK about 9pm or later, like after a nice dinner at the Poly. :earsboy: It's slightly challenging to swim upstream, but there's something energizing about going IN when the masses are going OUT.

It's also something special about HM, PPan and PotC after midnight. Peter and Tink would surely love the idea of staying up past your bedtime.:tink: Clearly, pirates did their best pirating AFTER midnight. pirate: (When they weren't passed out drunk.) And more ghosts come out after midnight!:hmghost:

Don't worry!!

EMH is for Resort guests only... so obviously they know that they have to get those guests back to their resorts!

The resort buses typically run for an hour or two after official closing (which includes EMH)

Any time it is offered we stay til 3am. DD drags me around. Running from ride to ride. It has a different feel to it to say the least. No crowds to absorb all the background music and talking. DD had one dumbo ride to herself and DS had the other whole ride to himself. Some rides were fun with less crowds and as crazy as it seems some rides are boring alone. I hope it will be open late in Aug.

The last time we stayed til 3am. CM told us it was the end of the 3am closing times for good. I was surprised to hear they are happening again. That was last year. Not every ride was open til 3am during our stay. SpM was closed. I really wanted to ride in the dark.
