MK EMH Morning Strategy

We will be at MK on 3/20 with an EMH from 8a-9a and wondering what everyone would suggest as far as strategy? We will hopefully get FP for Big Thunder, Seven Dwarfs, and Space later in the day and a few days later are doing the early morning magic event at MK so the fantasyland rides are not necessarily a top priority for us this day. I'm thinking a rope drop of Tomorrowland Speedway and then Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear, if time. I'm getting stuck on our best options as far as the 9a park opening. I'm thinking about heading over to Big Thunder or Splash Mountain and doing those followed by Pirates or Haunted Mansion if time and then just working our fast passes the rest of the morning. Thoughts???

We did something like that on an EMH morning a couple years ago. We actually started with Astro Orbiter, then Speedway, and then Space and Buzz. We even had time for a ride on people mover before the 9:00 opening.

Sorry, I haven't kept up with the news, will Speedway be back open by then?

Excellent! Thank you! Yes, it is supposed to be open then. We went in March and it was closed for refurbishments. I'm hoping we catch it this time around.

Depends what your priorities are. If you really want to do Tomorrowland attractions, then that should work. Personally, I would hit Jungle Cruise, Pirates and then Splash and then have my fastpass for Big Thunder ready when park opens. (but I just prefer those attractions over tomorrowland attractions) You could also likely grab a 4th fastpass for Buzz Lightyear, or head over to Tomorrowland when park opens.

Unfortunately Jungle Cruise, Pirates, and Splash are not open during Early Magic Hours so those are all out.

We did something similar in October.
The crowds headed to PP and 7DMT.
We rode SM twice (each track was walkon), Buzz twice (walkon both times), the speedway, teacups and poo before our 9 am 7DMT FP.
Then did HM on our way to our BTMRR FP.
The crowds didn't start to fill until about 11.
