MK Element Swap 2007 - Progress Thread - Everything on the way! Sorting tomorrow!!!

I HATE science fairs. Really...more than Ursula!

Thanks for keeping us up to date. It sounds like we are going to (cross your fingers) be able to sort on time!

I'm finished! Yahoo! It is going in the mail tomorrow. I like the way they turned out.

At dd's school all kids have to participate, even kindergarten. Only 3-6 is judged. DD wants to do an experiment to see how long it takes for cheese to mold. I guess we will research types of cheese first. I wonder if anyone has ever use the Betty Crocker Cook book as a referenece?

Our most interesting science fair project was the effects of drafting on a NASCAR car. Picture a scale model car with string glued on to show the slip stream and a shop vac set on BLOW. It was actually pretty good.

I have the pieces cut out for my topper. It looks so cool, but holy cow it takes forever to glue the little pieces on. But it is great that the Circut does the cutting or you all wouldn't get this much detail.
I will be doing the tags as the other element.

I know what you mean! I used my CraftRobo to cut out all these great words, and I love how everything turned out, but BOY did it take a long time to assemble!

After the weekend I've had, I feel like I have been forced to keep my eyes propped open with toothpicks! Oh, well. Don't have DH make a special trip, I will just get them this week.

Ok, I'm really mailing my package today! I forgot yeaterday was a Federal Holiday and the PO was closed! Man, I need a vacation! Although it was nice driving to work yesterday, hardly anyone on the road. Today was light traffic too. And it's a tropical 40* here this morning! Heat wave!

AWM - I got your angel things today and all I can say is "WOW!!!"

DH was even blown away and he is kinda hard to impress!

If this is what you manage on "short-notice", then I think you need to always angel - for me - seriously, just do all my stuff.

The only thing bad I have to say is that I am not in that group - crap!

B&MB - AWM hit it on the head - everything is getting so much better. I think we are all just getting inspired by each other (at least I know I am).

What amazed me about this latest stuff was that AWM did it so quickly and it is so good! Don't we just love die cut machines!
