MK during Thanksgiving week.....HELP PLEASE....need suggestions

We'll be in WDW and able to go to MK on any of the following days.......... either on Wednesday which is the day before Thanksgiving, on Thanksgiving day itself or Friday or Saturday the days following Thanksgiving.
Which day would you recommend?

We'll be there at that time, too. I wouldn't go on Thanksgiving Day... For some reason, holidays tend to draw large crowds.

On Friday, Eocot kicks off Chirstmas events, so that might draw many people away from MK. Might be a good bet.

Not sure about what to expect the other days. Just make sure you have a plan of attack because it will be crowded!

We have been Thanksgiving week several times, and I would suggest the Friday after. As previous poster mentioned, Epcot pulls crowds Friday, and with many people going to MK on Th, they often go elsewhere on Fri.

It depends on what your last day is. You want to be at EPCOT for CP and Holidays Around the World which begins on Black Friday so if you are leaving to go back home on Sat then I would do MK on Wed and Epcot on Fri.

My answer is "It doesn't matter, go whenever you want to go". It's Thanksgiving week, it's crowded, you're going to have to deal with it regardless. Yes, MK on Thanksgiving Day itself gets much more crowded than it would on a Tuesday in June, but if you understand that, then it shouldn't make a difference. If you want to go on Thanksgiving Day, just be sure to get there really early if you want to get a lot of rides in. For us, we'll go into any park on any day, we refuse to stay out of a park because there will be other people in it.

So I'd say plan the schedule that's best for your group. We had a great time in MK on Thanksgiving Day in 2015 and will be in it again for Thanksgiving 2017. Crowd, while large, is very festive and it's a very fun atmosphere.

Thank you for your replies. Actually we're only doing 2 parks this trip and surprisingly my DGS's have chosen AK in addition to MK, so no Epcot this trip. I definitely appreciate everyone's input and right now it looks like Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the most suggested day for MK.
I'm not too worried about AK, maybe I should be. Any thoughts on that also? Again, it would be Wednesday which is the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving day or Friday or Saturday.
Anyone else care to make a suggestion? I'll take all the help and suggestions I can get.
I appreciate any thoughts you may have. We usually don't go during such a busy time

We'll be going to AK on Wednesday that week. I know last year several sites recommended AK on Thanksgiving Day.

AK is usually the least crowded holiday park. We've been there on Christmas Day and it was a ghost town! So Thursday might be best.

We're actually taking an "off day" on Thanksgiving this year and doing Disney Springs.

I can tell you I was there between Christmas and New Years in Mk for day and then at night after a break and I promise we waited in zero lines. We got to park opening about 45-60 minutes before opening did all our rides wih no wait (REALLY) and went back at night for Philamagic, HoP and our FPs (we used them at night). The bottom line is go whatever day you want it will be crowded no matter what, moreso on Thanksgiving, get there at least 45 minutes prior to opening and you will always be ahead of the crowds.

If no one has a preference, I would do AK on Thanksgiving. There will be more people in MK that day.

I think it really only matters now what works best for you. Like I said above, over Christmas-New Years it was crowded no matter what and we just
chose the days that worked best for our schedules and what we wanted to do and when. I think you should do the same. It will be crowed but VERY
manageable if you get there an hour before park opening. After that, all bets are off LOL

MK on Wednesday wouldn't be as bad as Thursday. I would say Friday or Wednesday would be your best option. Epcot will be packed on Friday. We went to MK on Wednesday last year before Thanksgiving and it was not that crowded.

According to TP's historical crowd levels for 2016, Thanksgiving Day at MK was less crowded (based on average wait times) than any other weekday that week.

The Fri after Thanksgiving MK will have EMH if I remember correctly from last year. If you can make rope drop for that, I'd do that day. It opened at 7am. We will be going to MK this day that week before our flight home that evening. We didn't go to a park on Thanksgiving Day last year but will probably go to AK on Thanksgiving this year.

I know I saw that. Also, Kenny the pirate recommends MK on TG Day, I'm so confused.
I know people say to go whenever it works for us but honestly any of the above days would work for us. We'll be at our resort the days we don't do a park (only doing 2...MK and AK) and just trying to decide what days to go. It really doesn't matter to us.
