We will be going to Magic Kingdom during spring break. Our plan is to obviously get there at rope drop. We are going the days Josh recommends to go during the week. So do you guys think we should hightail it for fantasyland or hightail it to Big Thunder? There are five of us. My youngest will have just turned four and is now tall enough for BTMR. I don't know!!!

There is no question that Fantasyland will be much, MUCH busier at rope drop than the mountains of Frontierland.

Splash and Big Thunder don 't tend to get busy until 60-90 minutes or more after the park opens.

So, plan your FP+ reservations accordingly.

We will also be going during Spring Break.

Definitely go to Fantasyland before anything else. And even within fantasyland there are priorities to hit first. In order of priority your rides should be

Anna and Elsa meet and greet
7 Dwarfs Mine Train
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Peter Pan
everything else (pooh, dumbo, tea cups, little mermaid, small world, philharmonic, barnstormer)

So if you guys aren't into princesses then definitely hit 7 dwarfs first, then hit Peter Pan, then go to Thunder Mountain. If you're into princesses you really have to hit Anna and Elsa first.
