We are going to be in the MK 2 days during our upcoming trip to Disney. The first time we are going to the Crystal Palce. As of now, we have a reservation for Tony's Town Square. Can anyone suggest another restaurant for dinner (on the dining plan) or think that Tony's Town Square is a good pick. We kind of have mixed feelings about it. We have 4 adults and two boys ages 6 and 16. It is the kids first time there.

Our other reservations include:
Crystal Palace
50's Diner
Garden Grill
Tusker house (breakfast)
Cape May Cafe
Chef Mickey's

You might fare better at The Plaza restaurant. Small, simple and pretty inside it is missed by many. Expect sandwiches, burgers and salads.

For TS at MK, we really like Liberty Tree Tavern. There is alot of variety so it pleases everyone and we think the food is pretty good. You should check out the menu and see what you think.

I think that LTT is better than Tony's Town Square.

Good luck!! :)

I have heard great things about Liberty Tree. Apparently they have a thanksgiving style meal everyday for dinner. I suggest you take a look at their menu.

I have to totally agree with the Liberty Tree Tavern. My husband and I went there last time not really sure what it was going to be like. We loved it! The characters there will be good for the boys too! We plan to go there again during our trip in July!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to clarify my comment.

I have to admit that, while we all love Liberty Tree Tavern, we've never been there for dinner (which is a Thanksgiving style meal), but we love lunch there!! The lunch menu has alot of variety.

But - Alot of people on these boards have said that they really like the Thanksgiving-type menu. However, I'm pretty sure that they no longer have characters at dinner.

Again -- good luck with your planning!! :)

The LTT has not been a character meal for a couple of years now.
It serves an a la carte lunch and a fixed menu "Turkey Dinner" at dinner time. If this is what you like, it is enjoyable.
I have heard mixed reviews on Tony's, but you will find mixed reviews here on ALL restaurants if you look long enough. If the menu at Tony's appeals to you, go for it.
Have a Great Trip.

LTT serves turkey, but also serves ham and flank steak. As a person that doesn't love turkey I really like this restaurant-it's one of our favorites! Would recommend it!!!
