MK Dec24 Fantasyland

We will be spending only one day at MK on Dec 24. This will be our first ever visit at WDW. We have 3 little kids between 3 and 5 years old and are planning to focus on rides for kids in Fantasyland. We will not be able to leave the hotel (Doubletree suites WDW) before 8am. Does this itinerary sound reasonable? When do you estimate we will be done on such a busy day?

1. Dumbo
2. Pooh
3. Peter Pan
4. Cinderella Carroussel
5. Philarmagic
6. Small World
7. Ariel's grotto

I tried to use existing touring plans but none work well for us. I noticed that most tour plan recommend 1 3 2, ie Peter Pan before Pooh, but I don't understand why.

If the kids are up for it, we may come much later in the day for Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets and the evening parade.

We realize that there is a ton of experience on these boards while I just started to read the UG this weekend. Any comments and recommendations will be very much appreciated.

I think most plans put Pan first because the crowds build quicker there than at Pooh.

If you are there at opening (please try to be!!), even on Christmas Eve, you should be able to get those done by 10 am. Remember, resort guests will be able to enter the park at 7 am that day. Arriving after 8, will put you at a disadvantage. The crowds will increase exponentially as the morning goes by. A later arrival means you may not finish the same attractions until closer to noon.

I would work really, really hard at getting everyone to the park by 8 am. Even if you have to pack the night before. My family was there last year. It was very crowded. (What fun!) We had lunch at CRT. My DD had a blast. We left the park right afterwards.
