MK day of MNSSHP

Two of the days we are visiting will be MNSSHP. We have park hoppers. Is MK a good park to do on the day of MNSSHP. We can than hop to another park, or have dinner and call it a day when MK closes at 6 p.m.

The four days of Fri - Mon, Sept. 29 to Oct. 2 are the opening of F&W at Epcot and 2 MNSSHP at MK. What would you suggest for a touring plan, we don't want to go to either of these events?

You will miss spectro magic and wishes at the magic kingdom on the nights of MNSSHP if you only go on these days. If that doesnt matter to you, it will be easy for you to go to MK and when they close either go to epcot or you could do the Luau at the Poly that night.....always a favorite here.

Because of the shortened hours, do you think MK will be less busy the day of MNSSHP?

Those are exactly my dates for my trip. The only difference is that I'm going to Disney specifically for the F&W and MNSSHP. I would steer clear of MK/MGM on Saturday. (MK is always busiest on Sat and it's EEH for MGM).
Maybe AK/Epcot for Sat then MGM/MK on Sunday?

hard to say (at least for me) my sister and I went to one of the MNSSHP last year, I spent the day bumming around AK while she was at a conference and then we got to MK around 4:30 or so, the park was fairly crowded and remained so for the rest of the night through the event. I think MK starts to let people with the MNSSHP hard tickets enter at 4. So I am not sure how the crowds were prior to that.

I tend to think "Yes" because any folks without hoppers might tend to avoid the MK since it will have shortened hours....
