Our 1st full day in WDW is a Saturday (Dec. 4th to be exact), and I always visit MK first as a tradition. But weekends are always bussiest at MK. But early December tends to be slow overall. So how crowded do you all think it will be that day? I only ask because I want to know if I need to follow the touring plans in the Unofficial guide or not. Thanks!

I was there first week of December, Saturday, last year.
Fantasyland was elbow to elbow people. When I walked, I kind of shuffled to manage through the crowds. I really wanted to go to MK that day because of WISHES and SPECTRO.
This year I might sacrafice those and go to MK on Friday the 3rd.
Oh ! But I'll probably miss Spectro !

:D Last Dec we went on Saturday 12/13 and MK was packed. Almost as bad as some summer crowds we had seen. We ended up leaving because we had MVMCP tickets for Sunday.

We are going back this Dec 3-7 and will avoid MK on Saturday. We have MVMCP tickets for Sunday again and will see Wishes and the parade that night. If it's in your budget I would suggest getting MVMCP tickets or waiting until Monday to go to MK.:D

Thanks! We must go to MK first, it's a tradition on all of our trips (well, mine really, it's BF's first trip). We'll be back later in the week for a full day plus MVMCP, we'll have lots of time to re-ride or get to stuff we didn't make the first day. So I guess we'll just use the touring plan in UG on Saturday and see how it goes. I've always wanted to see how they work, anyway! If the plan doesn't work or it's just to packed to move, we just hop the Monorail back to the CR and figure something else out. Love those hopper passes!
