MK crowds 2/23/17

We have been to MK well over a dozen or so times during presidents week, and yesterday the crowds seemed frustratingly heavy. Does anyone know what the park attendance was or where to find out.

I "heard" there was heavy rain on Wednesday and people left.
I "heard" Disney did a special promo this week for locals.
I "heard" is was the last day for a big conference at Disney.
All which may have impacted the crowds.....

We were there just for the day, and I thought having EMH on Wednesday and EEH on Friday, MK wouldn't have been quite so packed.

Thanks for any input.....looking for future planning and where I went wrong or was it just an impression.

Does anyone know what the park attendance was or where to find out.

Some crowd calendars update for what really happened but off the top of my head I can't really think of which do it to point you too. That's going to be the best guess for crowd size.

It did rain and it was a 24 hour rain so the parks do dip in rain and when it's all day, MK tends to get loaded up on with what feels like 2 days worth of people. It's also just a very crowded week. Anytime there is a holiday weekend the shorter work week (this week) tends to be more crowded than than the weeks around it. It's all minor as it's always crowded.

I concur- it's a heavy crowd week!! We're here all week and it's been more crowded than we expected. You forgot the princess marathon this weekend too which I think has impacted upon the crowd level. Min 30 mins for attractions we are used to 15/20 mins wait for...
It did rain all day on wed which definatley impacted on crowds for yesterday! We didn't get all what we wanted done and all FP were gone for a lot of attractions by mid morning (even though We kept checking and some would pop up!)

also NASCAR is in Daytona this week and there was not a lot happening on track yesterday other than evening
