MK crowd question

would my chances for lighter crowds in MK be on Fri. 2/11 which is an Early Entry day or Saturday 2/12 - being that it's a Saturday? Thanks

hmmm..good question. My thoughts is that it will fill up more quickly on the Friday am (and that particular day MK is open later than the rest of the week), althought if you go EE you will for the first few hours have the opportunity to do some rides before it becomes busy...if you are staying on site, that is. On the Saturday, it is my experience that you again need to go early, at opening, for the first few hours and then it will be busy and build throughout the day. MK is open until 11pm that night which will also draw crowds on the Saturday.

It is a bit of a toss up between the two, no clear winner in my mind at least!

Are those our only choices ??? That is definetly a tough one. I think you probably won't find a huge difference between the two. Other than if you plan to get there early or not. If you're not on-site or going to use the morning EMH then, I'd probably go Saturday. As many rides will already have decent lines by 10am on Friday. If you're plann included using EMH then I'd go Friday.

I had the same chioce last week... go on Friday (EE) or Sat. We went Saturday and it was perfect. No crowds at all till around 1am it started filling up a little. I've read that Saturday is better since most folks are traveling that day.

The old way of thinking was always the day immediately after EMH was going to be the least crowded. There's something else to ponder.

Oh my - just as I was leaning towards Friday.... Well, Thank you for that input because we are not staying on property, so I guess Saturday it is. We just got Disney fever and are planning to drive Thurs. (dinner at Ohanas) and then do MK one day and BB one day (weather permitting). These boards are so helpful to my last minute planning!
