So... this trip wasn't planned until after our 180 day mark but somehow I've managed to score a 7pm BOG reservation on Sept 8th! As I've been perusing the park hours, I noticed that MK closes at 7pm that day due to MNSSHP which we will not have tickets for. Will we still be allowed to dine and then head back to the resort afterwards?

No. No dining at BoG without a party ticket after 6:15pm on MNSSHP nights. No exceptions. I should have stated so in the process of making the reservation, but most people get so excited, they blow right past that part. It also mentions that dinner is only until 6:15pm on the restaurant hours on that date, and the "special ticketed event" begins at 6:20.

No, depending on how important that ADR is to you I would buy party tickets, or look for an earlier ADR.

As of this year, no. Disney used to allow it, but as of this year they no longer do. You either need to buy tickets to the Mnsshp, or cancel and try and find an earlier time.

Thank you all for the update! I'm so sad... and plus, why doesn't it mention that when you make the reservation? Or does it, and I just missed it?

It does mention it when you're going through the confirmation. Most people are so excited about actually getting the reservation that they blow right past the warning that they're making the reservation on a party night that will require a ticket. You're not the first to do it, and won't be the last.

I was one of the people the blew past it :)

It does tell you a few times and should also be in your confirmation email.

If you look when booking it says it in the hours as well. So you need an ADR by 6:15 to eat there without party tickets.
