MK carrousel closed indefinitely

Wow -- that was fast. If you check out the link Figment632 posted, there were even pictures of the horses being removed.

According to the link, if you scroll down, someone says some idiot was jumping on a horse, causing for the horse (and said idiot) to fall off.

I know this thread is old, but I was at MK around that time (I can't remember the actual day) and was riding the carousel when one of the horses came off with a kid on it. It was after the fireworks and my husband had taken my older kids off to ride big kid rides and I had my 2 year old on the carousel. About 5 rows up, halfway through the ride, one of the outside horses suddenly fell off- there was a little boy on it, only about 6-7 years old, not doing anything unusual on it.

It took FOREVER for the girl working the ride to stop it while nearby riders tried to hold him up (as he was hooked on the horse) while the horse dragged the ground behind it. Finally, the kids dad hopped the fence and grabbed him off the horse and THEN the ride stopped. It was crazy. I took a picture of the horse sitting perpendicular to the carousel after the ride stopped, I'll post it if I can figure out how to get it off my phone.
