MK BBB then CRT lunch

Hi everyone,

Next March we will be at WDW with DD4 and DS1. Our friends have the same age children and will be there at the same time.

Our daughters are great friends and we are really excited to take them to MK and plan a really special day for them.

So my idea was to spend a morning at MK riding their favourite rides. Then go to BBB for the full castle package. After BBB I would like us to go for lunch at the castle with the princesses.

I realise that I will be very lucky to get both BBB and CRT at times that work together. When I call at the 6 month mark should I try for CRT first for a late lunch- say 2pm or 2.30pm. Then try and book BBB for about 1pm? I call WDW DINE for both, don't I?

How long shall I allow for the Castle package at BBB?

I dont know if MK BBB is open yet. Has anyone planned or done what I am hoping for?

Any comments on timing or booking?

You may want to check out this thread - it is full of info on BBB. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1333944 Cancersurvior started the thread and some fairy godmothers who work at BBB help out w/answers to posts and they are all so helpful.

We're going to BBB for the first time in a couple of weeks and I was able to book both CRT and BBB no problem. The lunch at CRT is much easier to get then the breakfast but I would definitely call 6 months out to make sure you get a good time. We scheduled the CRT (made this one first) for 1:20 and then called BBB and they scheduled DD4 for 11:00 (I told them about CRT at 1:20). From what I've read - allow about 30 minutes for the actual makeover time but the wait time is really up for grabs. It depends on how busy they are - I think a couple of hours is good. When scheduling BBB & CRT take into consideration the photo session w/the castle pkg is in the emporium which is at the beginning of main street.

BBB-MK is open there are pics at www.allears.net. I believe dining can set up both appointments now if not call 407-wdw-style for BBB.

We are doing both as well. I called exactly 180 days from our first day of stay and I was NOT allowed to make the CRT lunch ressie. Was told that even though we were staying on site, and could make all my other ressies, CRT was only available 180 days out EXACTLY.

I was able to make my BBB ressie but had to call back the next day for CRT. I told the CS about our BBB ressie at 12:30 and she advised me to make CRT at least 2 hours after. This is in case they are running late AND for time to get the photos done.

I really want to have pics done BEFORE we eat lunch.

I called almost exactly 180 days out and I had no problem getting ressies for the times I wanted.

We are doing BBB at 9am and then CRT at 12.

All of the info that JJ&JSMOM gave you is correct. The MK BBB opens at 8am and as pp stated 2hrs between appts would be the best way to go. This allows for BBB time photos and travel time through the park.

That's what we have planned! We're going in December. Have BBB ressies at 11 and CRT ressies at 2:20. We'll have plenty of time and play in between! Can't wait!

Thanks for all the info. BBB takes longer than I imagined, I hadn't allowed for the photos. Are photos included in all packages or just the Castle one?

The problem for us is that this day will be our only MK day with our friends and we want plenty of ride time.

What time shall I schedule BBB for to get maximum park time in first? I guess we could do BBB at 12 then CRT at 2pm. I think CRT finishes at 3pm. Has anyone been that late?

I had chosen a Wednesday as it is the best MK listed that week on another website that I subscribe to. I wonder if I should save the Wed for park touring and do BBB and CRT on another day when we dont need to do the park too. It wont be easy to do attractions after BBB and CRT if the girls are all dressed up.


I guess I need to wait for park hours for April then I can maybe pick another day. We have DVC but will be in an off site villa for this trip so cannot use EMH and will need to avoid the EMH park.


When will April park hours be released? Any idea?

We are doing both as well. BBB at 11AM and CRT @ 12:30 The CM said that would work out great timing wise. We called at 180 days out to make the reservations. Its a birthday gift for my DD (turning 4) and DNiece (turning 6)

I booked BBB 11:10 am for the crown package and CRT at 1:30 pm in DEC. I am hoping that is enough time for everything.
