Im in the early stages of planning one day at MK this july before our cruise. We havent been since FP+ started but know the parks well. We only have the one day and they have listed it as a MK am EMH. We normally avoid these days but have no choice this time.

What would you recommend for stategy? Assuming I can get a FP+ for 7DMT (no A&E needed we can meet on ship)

PP, Pooh, Barnstormer, Dumbo and Speedway... can we do all that in 1 hour and plan to head to Splash/BTM at official opening? Or am I being too ambitious? We would be there 30 min before opening at least.

Likely for all except the Speedway. (Barnstormer may eat quite a bit of time, as well.)

If by "PP" you mean peter pan, then know that ride can be easily a 45 minute wait and longer most of the time.

The speedway would be my biggest question mark too. They seem to take their time getting that ride up to capacity, so even if there aren't a lot of people there, they may only have one of the 4 tracks running for a while and the wait might be 15-20 minutes even in the first half hour.

If you go right to PP when the park opens, the line will be short (almost too short to fully enjoy the interactive queue). But, I would still start there, then go to Pooh. Then you can check the speedway to see what the line looks like before heading to Barnstormer and Dumbo. If you move quickly you might be able to do those 5 rides and be ready to enter Liberty Square/ Frontierland when they open that part of the park.

Thank you! Speedway was my biggest question. I think we will skip that then, do tea cups instead if still time and then head over towards frontier land!
