While doing some custom touring plans, I noticed that the afternoon Share a Dream Come True parade at the MK isn't scheduled for many days in March, according to the official website. Wishes and Spectro are scheduled - it's just SaDCT that ain't. Is this an oversight or by design? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Len

The official website is notorious for its inaccuracies - and that is especially true for parades and nightime show schedules. Even if CM LibertyBelle hadn't been so kind to post the schedule for you , I wouldn't worry. Unless the weather was a serious problem, I can't ever remember when the afternoon parade didn't run.

Enjoy the trip!

You know, wouldn't you think that if you were a multi-billion dollar corporation that encouraged and expected guests to plan in advance, you could put together some info on a website that was not so sloppy and inaccurate? Honestly, I don't care if they change the hours or whatever -I have learned to accept the new "Early Exit" program in effect at MK, but it is just lame to not post special events that you do have scheduled -knowing that guests plan things like childcare, PSs, etc. around the timing of things like Spectro (and SADCT for that matter). I mean we're not talking months in advance here; we're talking about less than 30 days out. C'mon Disney -get your act together.

Thanks for the information LibertyBelle! That's what I was looking for.

Wondering if I could bother you...

They seem to have decided to close MGM early on Feb 15th and taken away the 8:30 Fantasmic Show. Can you check if that is really true....I can't believe it on such a busy weekend.

TIA
Sandy

We are also planning to be at MGM on the 15th Feb. We originally thought there were 2 Fantasmic shows that night, but then we were told there was only one at 7pm. It would be wonderful if there really were 2, after all on President's Day weekend we are expecting it to be very busy...so you would think...

If anyone has any inside info on this I would be very grateful.

p.s. it is the usual Saturday night TV here in England and quite honestly I can think of nowhere better to be than in Florida..we have one week to go and at this time (less the 5 hours time difference) we would be coming in to land at Orlando. It has been three years since we were last there and if it wasn't for the employment situation (plus admittedly the elderly parents and school age children) we would be there permanently....maybe one day!

I was surpised by the MGM hours as well - looks like they hope to push everyone to Epcot and MK

thanks

Not sure why, but yes, MGM is closing at 7pm on the 15th (according to the cast information) with only 1 Fantasmic! that is scheduled for 7:30pm

Is it normal for them to only have Spectromagic once a night during Easter? I expected it to be done twice during this time. I see that Fantasmic will be shown twice. Do you think it's possible they'll change the schedule later?

No your right they do usually have 2...

The park hours for Easter Sunday are 9am to 11pm and right not they have Spectro listed for 9 and Wishes for 10 so that does still leave them the opportunity for an additional Spectro at 11pm. They usually base the parades and fireworks off of the projected attendance for the day. I would think, given past expereince that you can probably expect to see another Spectro added at least for that Sunday if not more days that week...but you never know.
