How do you think all the festivities at MK for their 50th are going to affect crowds/lines at US and IOA? We will be there the week of July 11th which is the week leading up to the actual anniversary date of July 17th......just curious.......will there be more or less activity at US/IOA?

I don't think it will matter.
The problem with Disney celebrations, is there are no rides behind them for thrill fans. It's mostly fluff, with ads telling people to visit just because. About the newest ride they have is a Master Blaster at Typhoon Lagoon.

if people are going to the MK on July 17 to celebrate there on the wrong side of the country, its Disneyland in Cali 50th birthday, I don't think there will be any heavier crowds at MK for another parks birthday

I agree. All the tv commercials, banners at the parks, castle decorations, pins, etc. are nice but there isn't much else to it.
