MK 24hr event question

Ok....we got lucky with this. The 22nd is our last full day in the parks. So we're thrilled to be able to do the 24 hr event. My question though....how likely is it that they would close the park? We weren't planning on getting there really early. Don't mind crowds, but don't want to show up that afternoon and be told we can't get in!!
Any thoughts?

We were there last year and I don't recall the park being closed due to crowds..However, there was a crazy amount of cars parked in the grass and along roads because the parking lots were crowded.

when I've been, it's been very crowded, but I don't remember it ever closing for capacity. Definitely not stage 4 which is all you have to worry about if you are staying onsite (or have AP)

Great! Thanks. Yes, we're at OKW. Should be fine then. I just don't think we can be in MK for that long. so hope to head to a different park that morning.
