MK 1/2 day plan

We are going to head to MK after an early lunch as Chef Mickey's. I wanted to hit the parade this day and the Rapanzel show, but I'm not sure how to fit things into a plan. Showing up at 12:00 during spring break, I'm assuming most of the "big" attractions will be too busy- thoughts on other fun things to do at MK that won't be long waits?

DD 4 and DS 2

We are spending three other days at MK to get in Fantasyland and the big rides!
