Yeah, we didn't get copies of the recipes either.I wish we had received copies of the recipes on ours!

Were you sitting with us?? We were on the Dream last weekend, and your picture looks like it is where we sat in Skyline - but I THINK we did it Sunday, not Saturday, but I can't remember for sure.
I've read that there are often additional classes offered once onboard the ship. Just check your Navigator you get on check in to see if/where they are taking signups. When our window opened up to book things all of the mixology classes were sold out. I was on line the second my window opened. What are the chances something will open up?

We did this last Saturday on the Dream. We signed up for Sunday when we boarded, but realized it would conflict with Solo and changed mid-day Saturday, they still had space for the class being held three hours later. It was in Skyline and they didn't let us go behind the bar, but had us mixing in front. Picture of our five drinks attached!
We signed up through our cruise group on social media and had a blast! DH and I both made drinks and they gave everyone a copy of the recipes to take home. We're definitely planning on doing it again on our 2019 cruise if we can get a spot! We did get tipsy though so make sure to eat before you go![]()
No, I think we were Sunday at 4pm - we were with another couple and their male friend. We were sitting in the first booth on the left with two women and then a couple (I think). Does that help? And everyone took pictures of my drink collection as I was deliberately not downing them right away for my photo op.But it was definitely Saturday around 4.
I have only done Mixology on the Wonder and the Magic, so I have never gotten to mix any of the drinks... I was definitely disappointed the first time we found that out, but it is still enjoyable.
We always book through our Facebook group that someone organizes.
A bit of advice... we always go up to Deck 9 and get a huge plate of fries to eat when we are drinking because we get so tipsy from all of the drinks![]()
I encourage you to sign up for a few classes (not just Mixology) as I believe they're all a LOT OF FUN!!! I did 3 classes - Mixology, Martini & Tequila - on the Fantasy just this past April. Even if your spouse doesn't go there are likely 1 or 2 others who are on their own, and most of the people are there to have fun and socialize. Of the 3 I attended, Mixology & Martini classes were my favorite. The tequila was entertaining due to the bartender, but the group wasn't as interactive as the prior two. The only slight negative on mixology was that someone from the group is mixing each drink, so drink portions may be slightly off. But, that's part of the fun. It really depends on the bartender on how many people get to participate. Our bartender made sure most of the group got to participate if they so desired.
I can't wait to go back and do it all over again. The tequila glass sizes were all standard shot glasses which had the strongest impact on my walking abilities post class...good thing the ship was rocking a bit as it helped cover my lack of walking in a straight line. The mixology & martini classes used smaller glasses, so you don't feel it as much due to the smaller portions. Each class provided 5 different drinks to sample.
Explore other classes for fun. Originally, I wasn't sure about Martini's as it's not something I drink much. However, it turned out that it was my favorite of the three. You will likely laugh a lot, hopefully learn something you didn't know, and most importantly...enjoy what you're drinking!
You pay the fee + tip. Some of the bartenders will tell you the portions of the drinks the make, especially if it's their own creations so you can make it at home. I was able to book mine prior to boarding, but I've read that they open other times the day you board the ship. In 2 of the 3 classes I attended, my classes had a couple just show up and the bartender made accommodations for them to stay. Worst case you can crash a class and they may accommodate you. I agree with the above post, make sure you have some food on your stomach going into the class.
Sorry, I just saw this today! No we didn't sign up through DCL. On our social media group one person took all of our room numbers and names and set up several smaller groups. So it was sort of through DCL, just via one person. Does that make sense? Payment was through DCL, hence the need for our room numbers. So you didn't sign up through the DCL port excursions?
