Mixology class on Dream?

What exactly does in entail? What kind of drinks? How many drinks? It sounds interesting to me, but I'm not a big drinker. I don't want to get drunk but I don't want to feel like I'm wasting my money-lol

When I did it last year on the Magic it cost $15. We had 5 drinks and they took 2 of us back at a time to mix up each of the sets. I think they limited the number of people to 10. It was so much fun I had my parents sign up for it during their baltic cruise and they aren't drinkers either.

While you won't get drunk you will feel alittle buzzed after it.

I don't remember what drinks we made but I'm sure someone can help you here with that.

We did this both times on the Dream and both times it was great.

The drinks are

Classic Martini
Mojito
Margarita
Sunken Treasure
B-52 (tri layered shot)

It is a fun class, but both times it was only offered once per cruise and they limited the class to 10 the first trip and 12 on the second.

I bet as more people do this it will be very difficult to get signed up for this class unless they add more.

I was buzzed after the class and my wife was closer to drunk.

It was $15 a piece, and I felt is was a real bargain.

Don't wait for the Navigator. Go to Guest Service on embarkation day and sign up.

(I pretty much always hit GS the first day and ask what 'ticketed' events are going on and sign up right then.)

Took the mixology class on the Dream in February and I'd highly recommend it. My one complaint is I didn't get a hard copy of any of the recipes. Had I known how quickly I'd forget them, I'd have written them down. A couple of the drinks were especially good and I'd love to know exactly how I made them during the class. So, if anyone reading this happens to take the class, I'd be very grateful if you managed to take some notes and post the recipes.

They don't do the same drinks every time (because the drinks I made were different than someone else's list). But we made an awesome shooter and mojito as well as a cosmo and something else. You might also consider the tequila class. I did it as well and they made the absolute best rocks margarita I've ever had.

This is my 3rd Disney Cruise. Wine tasting on cruise #1 & Tequila on #2.. good thing I like alcohol. lol
