mixing up the workout - treadmill vs outside walk

do you find you sometimes need to mixup your workout?
I finally got back on the treadmill today (rain). Ive been walking outside. Definately keep up a faster pace on the treadmill.
Do you mix up your workouts?
 
I do, mainly when it is nice I am outside. My treadmill is dying a slow death and anything more than 45 minutes strarts to make the motor go wacky.
 
I love that I do two types of workouts. I do outdoor walking in the AM and then I do Leslie Sansone workouts in the evenings. I find that each have their benefits. And it deffiently is benficial to work your muscles in different ways with different workouts.
 
Love the treadmill!
I wish the WDW 1/2 marathon was on one
and then I'd feel more secure about it lol!

Mixing up your routine keeps it from being boring
and it's good to change it up for your body too :)
 

I'm an outside walker myself...winter, spring, summer, fall. I of course change the footwear accordingly and also change my walking route to make it less dull!
