Mixing up my hotels - can someone help me with 2 questions?

Hi all,

So excited as we planned to go Oct 2010 but had to scratch it due to work travel However, did some figuring last night and it looks like we can go in Jan 2011 instead!!

I had already gotten rid of all my notes on my hotel research and there are 2 that are sticking out with me. Based on reviews from DISers, I remember this much:

1. Which hotel are you supposed to not stay in room 422 (or something) because the noisy breakfast room is right abive it?

2. Which hotel has a view where with a huge window that you can just sit at chairs at and see the fireworks. But, on one floor the window was higher than the other floor so it was more difficult to see out of?

I may be describing the same hotel - LOL!!

I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like you may be describing the Carousel???

Yep, I'm pretty sure you're describing the Carousel. They have Disney view rooms with 180 degree views of Disneyland. They're the rooms at the front of the hotel on the first 4 floors. The same room on the 5th floor is the breakfast room, but it's open at all hours. It's a good place to go in the evening to watch fireworks.
