Then what would I use late Saturday nights? P.S. I've found that Vaseline is the best eye makeup remover. It doesn't sting the eyes (though I wouldn't put it directly in them) and it's cheap.

Personally, I think the guy who cares enough to remember these small details (like Cheryl's favorite Disney resort) should be the one that Cheryl splurges on. But that's just my opinion.

Let me just say...purple eyeshadow, orange blush put on like warpaint, bright orange lipstick, my hair in a ponytail on top of my head and polish all over my nails, fingers and toes in assorted colors. The teacher did take a ton of pics. I, however, did not.

Howdy all!

Busy day. Soon to be a busy night. I'll be working 'til 2 or 3 in the morning. We had marathon meetings today (just two, but one was way too long and not entirely pleasant). Which means that the stuff I was supposed to finish today I haven't started yet. My son had the last band concert of the year but it didn't end until 45 minutes ago.

Walking into the ladies room last Saturday was NOT the dumbest thing I've done this week (last 7 days anyway). For one of the meetings it was at an office across town. I had pulled into a space in an old parking garage I'm not used to, world's tightest spaces - backing up to straighten out in the space and trying to avoid the Ford Behemoth (actually was a F150 full-size truck) about 6" away from my side - my mind on other things... KAMommy was telling me "No, you're too close to the column...", I'm saying "I see the column, honey, I'll miss it..." Famous last words. Crunched up the passenger side mirror. Only clipped the column by a half-inch, but crushed the mirror glass. Note to self: mirror glass breaks before a concrete column will. The plastic around the glass is OK (scuffed up, but we have touch-up paint in the garage), and the mirror adjustments all still work.

KAMommy was quite pissed at me - I deserved that, it was a dumb thing to do. She's cool now. I get to call around to see how much it'll cost to replace it for us. The mirror glass should only be around $35 (internet search = good thing). Hopefully they won't charge more than $100 or so to install it.

My daughter says it makes the car look "very cool" and "dangerous". Yeah, I guess that's one way to make a Subaru Legacy wagon look "dangerous"...
