Okay, I just spoke with the chief of police and he wants my room mate and I to come in and file a report. From there it would be decided what would happen. I sort of want to just let it go but I sort of want something to happen to them. He said they'll probably be kicked off the team so I feel like that might be enough.

Nothing...just makes me want to barf thats all.

You should see that place, everything was pink....the walls the carpet and ruffles on everything. It was total overkill. It looked like it must smell of old lady

Or bubblegum.

Gak...

My sentiments exactly.

What happened ? I came along after you had already told what was going on and I missed it. Sorry.

Or, to borrow a line from Steel Magnolias (speaking of the south)..."Looks like it's been hosed down with Pepto-Bismol..."

Just playing devil's advocate...what happens next year? Or are you graduating this year...?

Plus I'd be worried about them having access to your home address. The cops here won't take a complaint without having your full name, address, and contact info because "the accused has the right to face his/her accuser."

Long story short...the boys who live upstairs are tool bags and were being too loud on Wednesday night so we called campus police who busted them for alcohol possession (they're 19). They might get kicked off the soccer team or kicked out of the school for being underage so they were ticked off that we called the cops on them. So, they starting banging on our door, screaming inappropriate things at us, threatening to key our cars, telling us to watch our backs, blah, blah, blah.

I have to go spend my entire life savings on getting a bunch of stuff laminated now. I swear education majors alone keep Kinko's in business.

I'll be graduating next year. I will also be living on campus again next year but if I was in the same building as them or anything I would definitely request a move. And that pretty much scares the crap out of me that they would have my address or other contact info. That alone would make me not want to do it.

Thats what it looked like :sad2:

Well that sucks PJ. They sound like huge jerks :sad2:

Hopefully you can make a complaint but keep your info private. I - and many other people - had a problem here with a school bus driver a few years back (the speed limit on this particular road was 50 mph; he'd pull up at a house, then just as he stopped he'd put on the red lights and the stop sign would come out. No yellow lights, no warning, nothing. Like people coming up at 50 mph can stop that quickly). I noted the time and the tag number of the bus and contacted the police. I was told that other people have complained about this driver, but there's nothing that can be done if I don't leave my name and address and phone number. I said absolutely not, not in this day of road rage and revenge. So they said "Okay, thanks for wasting our time."

And I'd worked with the cops here in town before. I was shocked.

Thats pretty bad that they will let the person have your information. Maybe more people would press charges if they didn't have to fear revenge. :sad2:

That was exactly my point. I wouldn't be making a complaint if I didn't feel that my safety was already compromised by this chump, so why would I put myself in the same position again? :confused3

Okay, I still haven't walked out the door (not my strength), but this time I'm leaving for real.

Well that sucks PJ. They sound like huge jerks :sad2:
Thanks. We've had trouble with them all year but I feel like it really just now got out of control with the personal threats.

I can't believe that. That is so ridiculous. I will call the Chief of Police back and see what he says as to whether or not they would get our contact info. The thing is though, that they would know who filed the complaint. They would know it was us, but as of Thursday when we move out they would no longer know where we live so that would make me feel better.

I agree 100%.

It always seems the person in the wrong has more rights than the victim. Stupid system that doesn't work.

By PJ :wave2: I hope it all works out for you to get away from these guys

That's what kills me...they always say "The accused has rights." And I don't?
