So, today's drama...my grandmother's new thing is "I'm sorry I'm not dying fast enough for you two" (my mother and I).

***???

And no...nobody called.

Ah, she just got it in her head all by herself.

I am on day 4 of this migraine...........and no work today because only the vicodin is keeping it at bay, and I can not take that (will not) at school. Which means now I will have paydock because I'm out of sick days because of migraines and dh's appointments (I go to those because he hears nothing they tell him). So here I go whiny whine.

Stop it both of you  It isn't whining to tell your friends when things are bad or bothering you !!!! Isn't that what friends are for :confused3 At least thats what I thought.

I am sorry about your grandma Liz....And it has nothing to do with anything your mom or you have said or done. I have known older people who have gone through the same feelings . :sad2:

Paige...sorry about the headaches  I hoped they would find something to help you by now.

And to the people  out there who think it is whining to talk about things that are real and affect us ...then if you don't like it go elsewhere...no one will miss you .

Alrighty...my home office contact is irritating me, and I just got caught making a very rude, unladylike gesture (not The Finger). Oops.

Oh, well, it's my Friday...

What was the gesture if it wasn't the finger???

Just hanging out talking online with some nuts.

Good morning ya nuts! Is an acorn a nut???????? I know we don't eat it, but it looks like a nut. Remember that saying, "Mighty oaks from little acorns grow." Just some nut wanderings of my thoughts today.

My migraine is on its 5th day, but having missed and been docked pay for two already, I have to go to work if I have to sit in my corner and just hang on for dear life. We'll be working in "natural light" (ie lights off) today. The kids think that's a treat. We have big windows.

Anyone still up?:confused3

Good night!

Cheryl, so sorry I feel asleep and missed this engrossing conversation.:rotfl:

For reals, sorry I missed ya.

Hi Paige, I like the natural light idea. Sounds like fun. Sorry about the constant:headache:

BLUE & ROB:
How dare you ask what the gesture is. I, for one, am shocked! Blue, that angel bit you've been trying to pass off is starting to be in question. lol

See ya later guys.

The prize last time was me, remember PJ?!?!? Or did you forget you won me fair and square....DORY!
No....I remembered, that was zackly it. Since you were the prize last time and I'm not willing to give you up I figured you'd have to think of something else. Singing seemed like a good one.
Sorry BabyPeej. I just got done teaching my class and I always stop and say Hi to my grandma. AND you know she has speedy quick internet access, so my point is this: I can't stay and chat with you. But I'll think about you all the way home. Promise!:rolleyes1
How'd that work out for ya?

1.

2. Give it time and try to stop thinking about it!!!!!
Hey Y'all? Are you a Southern gentleman? I say y'all all the time. I'm sure that fits in with Rob and PJ's image of the backwoods country bumpkin';)

Rob's right on this one (it pained me to say that). I say y'all all the time and I do live in the bustling metropolis of Cincinnati so i can't be a backwoods country bumpkin. HOWEVER, you working in your barn certainly fits the image.
What's so freakin' funny?!?! You laughin' at me What am I, a clown? Do I amuse you? I'm what, I'm funny now?

p.s. Baby PJ, that's from a movie. well, not the first line but the rest. Add it to your summer movie watching oko?
Is it a problem that you've started answering my questions before I even ask them?
Um, are you sure? It IS a great movie but I'm thinking it probably is a bit too intense for PJ. We could recommend it with a warning
-- Rob
Intense in what way? Violent?
I see. Ok, I acquiesce.
*the role of cybermommy will be played today by babynurse1*

BABY PEANUT: After much thought and consideration of your gentile nature, it has been decided that you should not watch that movie. Which will remain unnamed, because I know you are too busy (or lazy) to google the quote.
Instead, due to GoDaddy's reference to George M. Cohen, you will be relegated to watch the movie "Yankee Doodle Dandy" with James Cagney. James Cagney is also on The Great Movie Ride, so that is a bonus for you when you go back to WDW.

Any variations from this plan will result in severe consequences, oko?
Gentile? Isn't that an ethnicity? I'm going to need this list soon. It seems you people have come up with more than a few movies for me. I'm coming over to your house to watch some of them.

What was the gesture if it wasn't the finger???
:rolleyes1

Sorry that I missed you, Cheryl and Blue.

Oko, I just have to tell the story of my absence yesterday because it was AWFUL. I lost my dog. I was at my parents' house. They're at their vacation home so I'm in charge of my sister. SO, we were getting a new furnace put in and I was babysitting a 3 and 5 year old. We're innocently playing Mouse Trap when one of the furnace men comes up to me and asks me if it's okay that our dog is running off up the hill. What the hell was he thinking????? They let her out the front door which they had propped open and didn't even stop her. She was running up the hill which translates to straight to the road so I was FREAKING out.

That might be an understatement. This dog is my baby and I was terrified. But, I had to watch the boys so I couldn't go find her. I was running around screaming her name while coming in every few minutes to check on the boys. Eventually I put them outside in the playhouse where I could sort of see them and kept running around looking for her. I was crying to the point that I got sick and I could hardly even walk. I kicked off my flip flops I don't even know where so I could run better and started looking through the woods. My feet got all cut up but I didn't even notice at the time. It was wIerd. She was gone for 35 minutes but if you had asked me at the time I would have thought she was gone for days. I eventually found her in the woods. It was the worst feeling in the world. If she had gotten hurt or something worse I would have never forgiven myself. She's safe and sound now. Never leaving my sight again!
