I fell asleep during the last 10 minutes of the first Futurama episode. Good thing I have it on my Netflix list.

Hey, Blue! Tell me about it - I LOVE the heat! I'm always cold. But in the office, since all of my coworkers are menopausal (or so it seems; they all appear to be having hot flashes), we cannot have it warmer than 50 degrees in this room. The AC unit blows directly in my face and the vents can't be turned.

So apparently I am a drama queen because I quietly rearranged my desk so that I'm sitting toward the middle of it, as far away from the air as possible, instead of in the corner like everyone else. My boss was in here and watched me do it, not saying anything because he knows I can't stand the cold. Here I'm trying to compromise, but it's not good enough

Yes, I emailed another layout (10th different layout) to the client late yesterday afternoon. We had to rob the reception area and an office area of some space to get things to work out. Normally my projects rarely go beyond 3 or 4 layout schemes before the client's satisfied, and we can finish the drawings. In other words, this is still "Square #1" of a multi-step process (for the record, the phrase "Back to the old drawing board" was probably started by an architect). We had scheduled and budgeted for far shorter of a time allotted for all this, so I had BETTER be VERY efficient in the production of the drawings to make up for that lost time & fee.

Well, everyone is at POTC!

We have tickets for tonight, to celebrate our 17th anniversary. The 17th is the 'Pirate' anniversary, apparently. Then I'll see it again on Sunday (see below)...

I need directions ot the beotch slapping. I have been known......

Hopefully there's not a need, as I think this latest layout has everything. I can't imagine what kind of problem she might have with it. But I'll keep your offer in the back of my mind, if she does have problems with it...

Hey there! I can answer at least partially to Lady E's whereabouts. She's here in Knoxville for a function with one of her kiddos. The plan (so far) is for us to meet up with her family for lunch and a PotC matinee on Sunday.

I love that show and I think I have seen them all. I watch them ever night before bed and then of course Family Guy on Adult Swim....love my cartoons.
