1. Again??? For the record, I had nothing to do with any threads being closed

2. and I'll try my bestest to be more like you but it's going to be hard :rolleyes1

3. I didn't get around to posting the pictures because DH came home early yesterday :yay:
1. Riiiiight. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

2. That is a lofty goal there, Bluester.

3. And today? :rolleyes1

I watch that and the Goth team was my favorite until they got booted off. They were just so nice to each other. Loved them. And I was going to post yesterday about that doofus and the "Tai"/"Thai" flub up. But I didn't. I don't know why.
I saw the goth team at a mall in Louisville. For real.

One cute kid story. Then I won't post any more for a few days. I promise. Today at school this little guy comes up to me, a first grader and he's obviously distraught but I don't know why yet. Our conversation went something like this:

Me: "what's wrong?"
Him: *staring at floor, won't make eye contact* ...eventually he says "Miss Lauren, my pants are all wet because I was in deep concentration and I guess my mind didn't have time to pee!"

Deep concentration??? Too funny!!!
:rotfl:
They crack me up on a daily basis.

Hi, everyone. :wave2: How was everyone's day?

How was everyone's day?
For a day off from work, mine was just fair. The kids ALSO got the day off because it snowed hard here last night. That is normally fine. I LOVE taking vacation days to stay home with the kids when it snows (honest) BUT not so much when I had the vacation day planned first.

I went to a 25th work anniversary celebration for my mom in the morning and to the foot doctor in the afternoon (where I did NOT get any novocaine shots and I was NOT cut on like I thought I would be -- thought that might still be coming down the road).

Then I went Sofa and Chair shopping at one of the local furniture stores. I went last night too (to a different furniture store, in a snowstorm, the opposite end of the metropolitan area from where we live). I do the first pass through and then take DW back to see what I liked (which wasn't much -- for those old enough to remember, it's like the Cosby show episode where Heathcliff loves his old sofa -- I love, love my sofa and I know it needs to go but, ugh, I can't find anything "good enough" to replace it).

We actually have two sofas in our living room and both need to be replaced and we should have a recliner chair and would have if my heathen children hadn't destroyed the last one so a chair also needs to be purchased.

When I got home though, DW had a nice, hot bowl of 3-bean (AND MEAT!) chili waiting for me. Yum!

Where the heck is Jean? I don't like this breakfast job :rolleyes1

Well, look what the cat dragged in. Thought you fell off the planet.

What have you been up to? :grouphug:

Well, I've had a couple more kidney stone surgeries. My wife got laid off in September (she's found another job since then). I'm getting bought out of the firm (my choice).

Life is good, though.
