Well, yes I do realize it's not like I had to shimmy into the earthen crawlspace after pickaxing through the ice to get to the thing but...hey! taking my most powerful hairdryer (not easy to find one considering my total lack of hairstyling savvy & DH's hair gel addicted ways), figuring out where the freeze was & then blowing as if my life depended on it...

Lucky??? OMG, no...it was gross. I do like older men, but this was like my grandfather here. And the gesture he made...well, let's just say my ex used to do it, too, and I found it so crude. Yeah, I of all people actually found something crude

I have front row seats to see TV's beloved Craig Ferguson here in KC this evening. (For those that don't know, Craig is the host of The Late Late Show on CBS and formerly played the role of Drew Carey's boss, Nigel Wick, on The Drew Carey Show.)

I've heard the language in his stand-up act can get a bit raunchy. I sure hope my virgin ears and angelic nature can handle it.

I don't watch him much because our local CBS affiliate delays his show by one hour and airs it at 12:30 a.m. I'm getting too old to stay up that late and still be productive at work the next day. May I also say that is what youtube (or the CBS website) is for (his monologues are on there and they're the most fun anyway).

Oh, no, it wasn't his television show. He tapes his Thursday night and Friday night shows on Thursdays (or at least he did yesterday) and then tours some weekends and does his standup comedy routine.

I got a "customer satisfaction survey" from the USPS yesterday. They want to know if I'm satisfied with their address forwarding service. The ironic part...they sent it to my old address. Um...hello?

I should send it back to them with the outer envelope, showing the yellow forwarding sticker, and ask, "What do you think?"
