Morning, Nuts!

One thing I love about champagne...I sleep very well and no hangovers! Although the morning breath (even with extensive teeth brushing prior to retiring) leaves something to be desired.

It's going to snow here today, so we're going to hang out. I'm going to read and watch The Twilight Zone.

Another FOOT of snow here!
12 inches yesterday, too!

Here is an old photo (2001). Snow is deeper today, the roads aren't bare & it is overcast.
Incidentally, our house is on the right, just after the brick (red color) house.
This is when the house was white & before we redid the chimney

Hey, Jean! No snow here, really. It started that way, but turned to rain. AGAIN. We didn't get a lot, but there was enough to shovel and it was heavy because it was so wet. Now it's going to freeze because the temps are in the single digits tonight.

The director of operations at my last job was a dead ringer for Tom Selleck ('cept the D of O had a better haircut). Interestingly, his name was Tom, too.

Did anybody catch Letterman in full beard and moustache this evening? I'm still not sure what I think of it. Definitely not something you normally see on national television (not since Grizzly Adams and Westerns went out of style anyway).

I forgot to ask about Cheryl's neck but he said he had her out working (or maybe he said she was at work -- hmmm -- same thing) so she must be doing better. I did get confirmation from him that it's cold down in Florida right now -- I saw the water parks at WDW closed due to weather and heard that there were wind chills down in the 30s in Miami (and the weatherpersons had to explain to the Miamians what a "wind chill" was ).

DS9 is doing good. He goes back to the doctor on Friday for a post-hospital-stay checkup but seems to be doing pretty good.

Really, the snowbirds should be sent out to explain it to all their Floridian neighbors!

Actually, I snuggle in a single electric blanket while couch cruising in the family room & have one upstairs, too

Hi Liz: I have been hiding out. These freezing temperatures and wind chills have been getting me down. Squids don't like wind chills. Seriously, though I was off for 2 weeks for Christmas break and I am just now back to work. Boooo!

Not really.

I'm glad it's over and I'm looking forward to 2008. Things can only get better.
