1. Hey! Someone else is confused!!!! :woohoo:
Although, I didn't understand that post either, to be perfectly honest.

2. I was going to post anyway! So there! :snooty: I keep using that smiley on you. Wassup with that?

I dunno...you feel like snubbing me? :confused3

You shouldn't be on the DIS! You're on vacation and visiting ;)

but it was great to hear from you so soon!!!

Huh...little breakthrough tonight. My mother didn't completely shoot down my suggestion of moving back to Chicago. She just doesn't want to live right in the city, but I do. For me, it's because my cousin and her husband live there. Closer age bracket. Mum wants to go to one of the suburbs, to be near her brother. We're actually talking about buying a condo together, and once we're settled and ready to separate, whoever wants to stay can buy the other's half. This might just work...

Sounds like a good plan Liz!

I wouldn't want to live in the city either - I'm a BIG COUNTRY BUMPKIN :upsidedow

Okay, drive by!

Say 'congrats' to me Nuts, I just self-censored & saved myself those embarassing Holiday Points!

but it was really funny. You'll have to trust me!

Must be nice to be able to take a nap during the day. I wouldn't mind going out to my car at lunch for some rest and relaxation but would hate to have someone track me down (like Liz's creepy salesman). ;)

Actually, my DH will take naps in his car

Now if I could only get him to sleep in the car at home!

Not at all. Not that there are many cute and/or sexy men around here to begin with...
...
You may. I eagerly await it.
1. Oh, yeah, big time job search!
2.

If you were addressing me it would read,

"Good morning Sunshine!"

YAY!
Sticks rock!

Outta here! Gotta do the Christmas thing!
:cheer2: Hi Peejers! Hey DM! Hiya FTL! :cheer2:

Yo yo NUTS! I won't be on for over a week or so now. I'm having surgery the day after Christmas so I thought I should tell you all in case you miss me.

I took my three youngest boys to see Alvin and the Chipmunks today. It wasn't my top choice but they wanted to see it. It was cute enough and I enjoyed it.

Good luck DM! Hope everything goes super smooth for you!

I trust you, Jean. And I like you, so please ask us to just trust you more often. Save yourself the points.

Good luck to you!!! And MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Tonight was my first night back at Chef Mickey's. It went very well. There was only one other seater there who had been there in August when I left! The rest of them all got fired or quit. :rotfl2: I got to catch up on a lot of good gossip! My general thoughts from the night:
1. When I went down to the bakery to get the birthday cakes for the night there was an amazing Captain Jack Sparrow Pirates of the Caribbean cake. I want it.

2. I lost my nametag but you can never ever ever under any circumstances go "on stage" without a nametag. So, my manager has a drawer of random nametags for people to wear when they forget or lose theirs. I chose to be Donnisha from New York City. I think it fit me well. I'm going to pick someone else to be tomorrow night.

3. Disney doesn't care about being politically correct either. They played Christmas music instead of our regular music and it was not songs like jingle bells or rudolph the red nosed reindeer. It was songs like silent night and little town of bethlehem (or whatever the real title to that song is). I was surprised.

4. I missed free food, specifically Mickey maccaroni and cheese.
:santa:

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you & yours, DawnMarie!
Best wishes for a complete & speedy recovery!

1. Just let them know that yr seating job is on an observational only level (Uh..except for the mac & cheese!).
Be sure to mention Blues's vacation/ 'work' scheme whenever the manager gets after you!

2. :rotfl: Yes, it is on the crimson side! Scarlet!
3. Awww, the job just wasn't worth it w/o the PJ! :cheer2:
4. Okay, I was twisting in my knickers until I realized you you talking about a Captain Jack Sparrow cake!
HoTt alert for nothing! Be careful when tossing the Captain's name around!
5. :cheer2:
6. Next shift, double helpings mac 'n' cheese!
And on the subject of nutrition, did you pick up the Lucky Charms & soda?

Question for Rob & Donnisha: do you all put sugar on the Lucky Charms?
How about the rest of you Nuts?

Sounds like an interesting condo deal, Liz!

Back to the grind!
Oh, the wages of slovenly housekeeping! :guilty:

Good Morning Nuts! Our first Christmas family event happens this evening as we visit my parents to celebrate Christmas. They also will come to our home on Christmas Day for a huge lunch but we like to exchange gifts beforehand and, of course, anytime you get together, you HAVE to eat!
