Sheesh! don't use hot water or a lot of water. The cups are very thick.
After all it is only your very own germs!
This can also be done with heavy wax coated paper plates tee hee

Here is my 30 yr old recipe for single person's salad:
Cut iceberg lettuce in quarters.
Holding over sink, sprinkle on bacon bits & salad dressing.
Eat. Rinse sink out.

No dishes, one knife.
Now if you know how to whack the head of iceberg, you won't even need the knife.

Yes, that is the very best, sure fire method. Use a thick, creamy dressing, like bleu cheese.
If you hold the lettuce wedge so the cut side faces you, you can drop the bits into the little crevices~
