PJ: You've got one of the toughest but rewarding jobs out there. Here's to you!:woohoo:

I second that. One of my best friends is a teacher and she emailed me last week, telling me that she's having the hardest year since her 2nd professional year of teaching. She said the kids are very needy and they don't seem to be grasping her lessons. She goes home every night feeling like a failure. Sometimes I do think that if an entire class isn't "getting it," that it might be the teacher, but she's been doing it for 10 years (not counting her student teaching time), so I'm hoping that maybe she's got a difficult class. She's trying to adjust her lessons but she says that nothing is working.

It is a tough job. People always told me that I should be a teacher, but I don't think I could hack it.

I watched it up until the top of the 9th at the Crewscup, then got kicked out. lol

What a season for Boston Fans!!!!
Whaaaaaatttt??? So much for the guest always being taken care of!!! They couldn't wait for the inning to be done?

Ummm< I think I'm still in Disney World!!!
(I can say that one more night)
I guess you should have stayed in your room at Disney World. Did you get to a tv or radio in time to catch the end of the game?

You LOL'd but I'd be  about missing that.

Good Morning Nutters,
Looks like it was busy weekend around these parts.

Hope everyone had a good weekend

Now that is a “Why are you bothering me” look

Nice doggie pics, Liz. Tara is so beautiful.

Hi, Rob and any other nuts hanging about.

Woohoo!!!!
Just wish there was a bit more of a monetary reward to this job...

Glad you're feeling okay (ish) today, Liz. Tara is such a cutie. I'm always jealous of dogs and people who can fall asleep anywhere. I can't do that.
That sounds very frustrating for your friend. I hope she doesn't get discouraged.

Hi, Michele and Rob. :wave2:
I'm off to class.

Surprisingly, I feel okay physically today. Still having a bit of trouble with stairs because of the knee, but I'm not as stiff as I was yesterday. Looking forward to my hair appointment this afternoon, which has been pushed back 30 minutes (no big deal) ..........

First of all, sorry I didn't ask how you're doing. Were you able to get some sleep last night?
I hope the hair appt. went well.
Love the dog pictures.

Just puttin this out there in case you're in an explaining mood, HARASW...I have no idea what the quote in your signature means.

Of course I'll explain....Last week, the NY times devoted their entire Science Times section to sleep. Since I get very little of it, I read through that section looking to see if there were any suggestions to help me sleep better. There were many quotes listed on the margins of the pages and this one caught my eye and I really liked it. It just made so much sense to me. Sleep is everything to everyone. I know it is a bit out of the ordinary on the DIS boards, but I figured if I posted it in my signature, I would always be able to look back at it and remember it.

Knowing Tara, that's more of her "Get that *bleeping* camera out of my face before I bite it out of your hand, you *bleeping* *bleep*."

She's paying me back...she has horrible gas today, and since she hates being alone, she's staying in the same room as me.

I actually slept like a rock, thanks. I think the beer may have helped. I did wake up around 3 and had trouble getting back to sleep, but I put on the TV and got tired again around 20 to 4. Hair looks great, and thanks about Tara - lately I've been taking a lot of pictures of her!

Wahhhh! I'm home. I wish I could meet you at the Boardwalk bar for a Captain's Mai Tai! If you see my favorite bartender tell him I'm still waiting for his e-mail!

You have to read on the chatters about the dreams I won!

Love ya!

Hi, Rob and any other nuts hanging about.
Hi Michele!

Just wish there was a bit more of a monetary reward to this job...

Hi, Michele and Rob.
It's called getting your doctorate and/or getting into education administration, P&J. I'm sure you know that you can do quite well at the Principal (or Headmaster) level and above.

Hope you don't mind me appending a bit to further PJ's education. The lines come from the novel "The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha" (more commonly known as Don Quixote) written in 1605 by Don Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra:

You will come to find that I need many things explained to me often. The other nuts can vouch for this. Your explanation is appreciated. I love to sleep when I can, but when I can't it's bad so I can appreciate this sentiment.

Knowing Tara, that's more of her "Get that *bleeping* camera out of my face before I bite it out of your hand, you *bleeping* *bleep*."!
No way, not Tara!!
Got any pictures of the new haircut?

But I don't wanna be a principal. I wanna teach. In a classroom. Not sit in an office.
p.s. We watched Man of La Mancha in Spanish class in high school and I have seen the ballet of Don Quixote. I shoulda known that reference.

wb, Sweatster. Hope y'all had a nice trip.

Night, Nuts.
:grouphug:

Night? But the DIS clock says it's only 9:39 in your time zone. :rotfl2:

-- Rob

Well, in the REAL world it's 11:17 and I have to get up at 6. It would be nice if we could all live in DIS world though. Actually, come to think of it, that might be a little scary. :scared: This post is starting to sound loopy. Goodnight #2.

Hello Nuts!!
Miss me???

I'm back, but I'm way too tired to stay up.
I know Sweaty, I told you I would be on tonight. But, I can't keep my eyes open! lol

Oh, I forgot to tell you who I saw at the CR! Joey Fratone. He had just gotten back from Friday night's MNSSHP. He was on our monorail and going to get his car from the valet. I guess he can break the rules and park at the resorts;)

Here is the picture:

Okay, good night.:cloud9: I hope to catch up with you all tomorrow night!!

Thanks for your addition to my post. I guess I should have mentioned that it came from Don QUixote, which was listed in the paper, too.

Good Morning!!
Just curious, why is it that I know that it is 7:40 over here in NY but when I post it show up as 7:05?
Hope you all have a great day! :yay:

No way, not Tara!!
Got any pictures of the new haircut?

It's the same old haircut. Colour-wise, we've been going more deep brown than purple, and that's keeping the red tones better. I want my purple back, but I much prefer that it doesn't fade as quickly with the brown.

Never was an N'Sync fan, but that's actually a good picture. I like his shirt.

It's the DIS Time Warp. We've got Stephen Hawking checking into it.
