And I just got lost.
Everyone else is lost in Blue's TR.
Actually, Yankees game -- ONE OUT TO GO!!!

ETA: Ok, no outs to go! Indians are going to Boston!

Gee I miss all you guys and miss having my free time for just this thread :(

I swear, I'm never doing a trip report again. It's too much work and takes up far too much of my time.

Anyways, I'm trying to catch up...Rob's mini-TR's are loading so slowly for me :sad2:

I love the horse pics! Really, what I've seen so far is great :thumbsup2

Your boys are cute but I already told you that :)

That radio thingy....do you rent them? I might have missed what you wrote about that :confused3

I could use a sandwich right now...
Hopefully a breakfast sandwich!

These seem like lovely names, but who are they :confused3 Is Taylor the dork who won the AI contest?
Taylor Swift is a young country music star, young, young, young, younger than PJ even! (almost 4 years younger than PJ!) Rodney Atkins and Brad Paisley are both country singers that I enjoy and I am not an overly huge country music fan. In fact, I like Rodney Atkins's music a whole lot. They both also should make PJ forget all about Kenny Chesney, IMO, although they are also both about my age especially Atkins.

Parents of young kids need this device!
I sure could've used one of these while chaperoning dances! :rotfl:
:rotfl2: :lmao: True Jean. Hadn't even thought of that.

Rob!

Your kids are real cuties!!!

Ya gotta love the pic of the four of them, with yr DS14 miffed! :rotfl:
Thanks Jean!

Yep, I do 'search & destroy' or that's what Patrick refers to it when I follow him to ground & 'force' him to 'enjoy' time together! :grouphug:
"Search and destroy" or "Force and enjoy"?

So, tomorrow we are going to a Sysco food show in Tampa over night. Should be fun.
Nothing else new here. What about everyone else?
Sometimes we get presentations from Cisco on PC networking equipment and PC network management -- probably not the same thing though. :upsidedow

There are about 3 or 4 different vendors at the race track with scanner-type radios you can rent or purchase. You can also purchase race scanner radios at Radio Shack and such. However, only Nextel rents and sells the video/audio/data device that we rented . The other scanners you have to look up the driver's radio frequency and tune to it. On the Nextel devices, you just key in the driver/race car's number.

We rented the device for $70 total for both days (I think one day was $50). You can also buy the device (if you were the type to go to a lot of races) for around $450 and then you only have to pay a $10 "activation fee" for each race day.

Different company. Sysco is a national food company. They sell everything you can imagine to food service providers.

Hello there Heidi!! Long time no "see"!

I can't stay long, I need to pack and get KJ's stuff ready for the babysitter.

You nut! I knew that. I was just making a play on the homonym. I see Sysco trucks around our city all the time.

-- Rob

 Can't do that at this late hour. lol

Okay, need to get to sleep. I have to get up early and we all know how that goes.
Good night nuts! Hope to see some old familiar faces around here soon!!

Hmmm, what can we do together at this late hour? :rolleyes1

So, anyway, I saw my mother off to her new job today. It's her first day at a new job in 29 years. She said she wasn't nervous, but I think she was. Not only is it a new job, it's a completely new career.

We also hope that Tara won't piddle on the carpet while we're gone. She's 13 1/2, she can't hold it like she used to, although she does manage to go all night without a problem.

:grouphug: Yr TR is funny, Heidi!
But your right, I'll bet it can take up a chunk of time!
I've always kept a trip diary, but never done a TR; you funny people intimidate me!

Love those Clydesdales!
Cheryl will tell you there's Clydesdales in Merrimack, NH at the A-Busch brewery there. It's so much fun to see them & really nice when you get to see a foal :cloud9:
Hereabouts, some small logging operations, farmers & syrup folks use draft horses. At our 1st house in NH, built only about 20 years ago, the land was cleared using draft horses

:cheer2: For your Mom.
Yeah, I'll bet she did have butterflies. Really hoping she likes this job!

Hey, maybe she'll need a little liquid relaxation when she comes home?

Cool! :cheer2:

She doesn't drink. Doesn't like alcohol. However, if she does want some, there's beer in the fridge, and SoCo, Nassau Royale, and peppermint Schnapps under the sink (good to mix into the hot cocoa mix in the pantry) :thumbsup2

Liz, I hope she has a great day! Change is good!

Yup, used to live right down the street from them! They are just so majestic.

Okay, offf to Tampa. Play nice!

Okay, offf to Tampa. Play nice!

Have a lovely informative day, Cheryl! :teeth:

Tell her that! She HATES change.

Tell her she'll love change in about 30 years! :rotfl2:

Has she tried cinnamon schapps?

Hmm..some Amaretto or Bailey's or Tia Maria in her cocoa?

Just like in Days of Wine and Roses, start 'em off soft (Brandy Alexanders) soon she'll be after your Roederer stash!
