Hello Nut Jobs. Good to see ya Jave and Lisa. Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I went to see Rodney Atkins, Taylor Swift, and Brad Paisley on Friday night. It was a GREAT concert. We sat on the lawn with the crazies and, I gotta say, that really just made it all the more fun. Rumor on the lawn was that Taylor Swift was going to be doing a meet and greet after the concert so we hung around afterwards. We waited and waited and waited. And waited some more. Just when we decided to give up and go home we saw her standing by the exit taking pictures and signing autographs. Did we think to go look for her over there. No, no we did not. How smart are we??? Don't answer that. Of course, by that time they had cut the line off. I was so bummed. It really was a great concert though.

Today I was taken to My Fair Lady and it was boring. And that was my weekend. And now it's Desperate Housewives. Only a 3 day week this week!

My relative is still in the hospital right now but they might release him in the morning. Thanks for all the prayers, good thoughts, hugs, etc. Hope everyone has a great night.

My Fair Lady boring? Was it a stage play? Even so enjoyment is exponentially increased by the simple donning of a humungous, elaborate picture hat and victorian style dress. Do carry a parasol, keeps the sun off a fair complexion & is so convenient for popping the ill mannered!

KJ was begging me to let him run on the field Saturday at the stadium! Kids just love that stuff. They were working on it, so he couldn't. Not sure why they bother. Could the Dolphins be any worse this season??

Ah yes, but I had to rub in the Red Sox win just a bit.

Bit of a sidebar here: The Nextel Fanview device was way, way cool. It could pick up the race telecast that was being shown on the video boards at the race track. It could also pick up six in-car camera channels, direct audio feeds between the drivers and their crews, the radio broadcast of the event, and the race "officials" on their radios. The service also was tapped directly into NASCAR's timing and scoring systems so it could provide real-time race statistics and data at the touch of a button. It was simply amazing (I was even amazed that you could view the picture in direct sunlight -- sure can't do that on my digital camera screen). This device is at all of NASCAR and most other major races these days and look for it soon at an NFL game near you (the Redskins already have it for rent at their stadium):

Well, I did get music--TWICE! But...illness & family strife took its toll on my entertainment

Yes, despite working the phones, sending out over 400 emails--No Music!

That & I have had 6 volunteers call up within one week to cancel--seems everyone is getting dates for Homecoming weekend
Usually, I am whacked, but excited, now I just want to get that long, lonesome walk OVER!

I know my Mom would rarely ever order liquor, so DSis & I used to give her 'sips' out of our glasses. Didn't take her much to get cute & funny!
