Ok, this made me chuckle this morning; I slightly modified it since I do not have my Asbestos underwear with me at work.


FIVE RULES FOR A MAN/WOMEN TO FOLLOW TO A HAPPY LIFE:

1. It's important to have a man/woman, who helps at home, who cooks from time to time, cleans up and has a job.

2. It's important to have a man/woman, who can make you laugh.

3. It's important to have a man/woman, who you can trust and who doesn't lie to you.

4. It's important to have a man/woman, who is good in bed and who likes to be with you

5. It's very, very important that these four men/women do not know each other.

Ok, I'm here, now where are the other three?

Okay, I can handle part 2, the laughing.
I'm even amenable to part 3, you can trust me

DS called last night all happy. He's been at this part time job for almost 2 weeks and is very happy with it
He is doing prep cooking at a family market--learning from Italians. I'm expecting some good recipes & tips from this!

You will all be happy to know that I just walked past that cute guy at work, and for once I didn't get shy and stare at the floor. Nope, I looked him right in the eye and smiled. Well, okay, as "right in the eye" as I could, seeing as how I'm 5'2" and he's at least 6 1/2 feet tall. So for the first time he said more than one word to me - "Have a good night."

There's one more baby step for me...

Pain...

I'm moving my TVs and computer tomorrow night. I figured that since I won't be using the downstairs TV (an 11-year-old 27" Sony), I would disconnect it and have it ready for when my mother gets here to help. It was about a foot off the floor, in an entertainment center. I pulled it slightly out to dust it and take the cables out, and it fell - on me. Screen down. Took me a minute to get out from under it, then to get it upright again. Seems to still be working, but my left shoulder is out of whack (I've dislocated it before). I'm calling this my first moving war wound. Let's see how I feel tomorrow.

And a (relatively) good morning it is...despite my shoulder and now neck still aching...

I was at my desk already when my cute coworker came in. Oh, yeah, he was looking. So once again, I looked him right in the eye and smiled and said good morning to him. He did the same.

I'm proud of myself. When you're this shy, just making eye contact is difficult!
