I knew Elton John was coming to our town, I love him in concert!! I was waiting, waiting, waiting for the date.

It's a one night show and I can't make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm wondering if he is playing somewhere else within driving distance on any of the following days, but his web site doesn't have teh info.

Can you google a fan site to get a schedule?

I am googling home decor, I guess it's back to the book store.
I went on the Ethan Allen site, but they have nothing that interests me.

I have a bazillion calls to make--blech!

Keep your fingers crossed - in our area, if there is a high demand for a concert, the artist will add dates. I can't remember who it was, but one year someone ended up adding 4 shows. If they can't add it along with the scheduled show, they sometimes will add dates at the end of the tour.

I hear ya...I really dreaded making that phone call to the cable company last night. At least they don't try to convince you to "take it with you" when you say you can't.

I'm not going to be nice and try to give you tips on how to get through it. I'll tell you the only thing that helps me...

Just suck it up and do it and get it done. I don't know about you, but I always feel better without it hanging over my head.

Of course, then I spend days afterward analyzing it, wondering if I sounded demanding or snippy or rude...

Cheryl...So how long is Crystina observing for? How did she get the time off school to do it? I am a little confused as to this whole situation. I observed my class at art today and the teacher wanted me to participate with the kids so I painted a self portrait. It turned out just lovely.

p.s. Tell Tom to dye his hair. Otherwise I'll be confused next time I see him and we all know I don't need any help in that area.

Okay, I have a friend that reminds me quite often how old he is (and he isn't old in the least)...so I told him that every time he does it, I'm going to call him Old Man. I'm not asking your age, but do I have to call you Old Man, too?

My mother complains about her age, too. Sorry, but 53 is not old. Sometimes when she starts her kvetching, I'll say "Okay, Old Lady..."
