I have to say, all you decorating divas are inspiring me to do over my dumpy living room!
I have no taste, though & have to find a magazine & copy!

I am the 3rd generation in my family of women without the decorating gene!

Not yet - I was over on Tuesday night, but I didn't really have a chance to work on it. I'm kind of on hold right now anyway - waiting for the cable installer (next week) and mat boards so I can frame some pictures.

Just pick out things you REALLY like - that's how I decorate. It will all fall together in the end.

My friend Brett "accidentally" did that once. We were leaving the beach, and for some reason, the guys went to the parking lot to change instead of going to the changing rooms. Keith and Chris managed to change under their towels, but Brett was having a hard time, so he finally gave up. Dropped the towel - and his drawers - just as a train went by.

You'll do fine. Like I said, just pick what you like. You'll know when enough is enough.

The dark furniture was actually Gram's. Mum figured, why sell it if I'm going to move in. I'm still having a hard time calling it my room, though. It's still Gram's.

I have seen something similar out at the Disneyland resort, the Grand California Hotel has a number of rooms that over look Downtown Disney or California Adventure on several occasion guest of the hotel have forgotten this and will stand in front of their windows or on tier balconies in different stages of undress. It is hilarious to see the looks on their faces when they realize they have just flashed an entire them park.

It is hilarious to see the looks on their faces when they realize they have just flashed an entire them park.

You will do fine Jean! Look through magazines, get ideas. Furniture stores always ahve displays to get ideas or even go through model homes. That is where I get my best inspirations. Then decorate for yourself! You are the one that has to live there. Just buy what you like, one piece at a time.

I seem to do this on a regular basis. I have a window in my room that's only about 15" wide, and I could never get a shade small enough for it (Home Depot won't cut it that small either). So I never bothered to try to cover it or anything. I think nothing of walking around...well, you know. So I'm sure half of the people in that area of the complex have seen things. I know Bill next door has. And the guy that lived 2 doors away - I caught him once in the parking lot, just staring up at the window while I was trying on old clothes.

Oh, well, I'm not shy.

It's a one night show and I can't make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm wondering if he is playing somewhere else within driving distance on any of the following days, but his web site doesn't have teh info.
